Pace isn’t working

Time for Pakistan to bring the front line spinners on.
 
England are finding their form back.

This feels like England of old.

Why doesn’t Babar trying for spin!!! They are using the extra pace on this slow wicket. Get the pace out of ball and make them reach out - Johnny isn’t in good form, but he knows only one way to bat; won’t last long.
 
So Pakistan is helping a completly out of touch bairstow back into form?

What is wrong with our team

Pak missing Naseem so bad. He is like Bumrah, he may go wicketless but he creates a pressure on which Shaheen and Rauf take wickets.

Not saying Pakistan being bad is all do with Babar Azam but Babar is a terrible captain. He doesn't deserve to be captain anymore after this WC.
 
PAK must calculate the other equation as well …. If the AFGs end above them ……

Nothing like Bumrah.

He would have been attacked and like all pak bowlers, would have been too emotional to change things up

Tad too late for this tournament though. As the defending champions I expected much more from England. What a disappointment they have been!

I kept and kept telling people over and over naseem is best Pakistani bowler, but everyone was like no, Shaheen zindabad
 
Only positive thing is Pakistan are last team to be eliminated in league stage
 
Good on babar to give farewell game to shadab . Not sure why Nawaz denied the farewell game

Not comparing his ability to Bumrah but his role out of the 3 pacers here. Only a fool would rate Shaheen or Rauf above Naseem
 
Usual filth. Unfortunately PCB will not drop Rauf. Embarrassingly expensive.

Finger spinners - Ifti will trouble him if he can put it at right spot with a bit of air.

Also, pacer means you are keeping your two out fielders at 3rd msn & fine leg to protect boundary. With spinner, you can put a ling-on & a mid-wicket on line - those are catching positions

Yeah. I also expected them to do better.

Indian flat pitches should've suited them. But, that didn't happen.
 
Once again , PAK new ball attack having little impact so far.

England were a bit smart for a change . They didn't let Bairstow, weak against inswing and Left arm pace particularly , face the first over and Malan came in as #1 for the first time in this World Cup.

Ramiz Raja knows his cricket. There was a leaked conversation of Ramiz Raja (when he was PCB chairman) where he said Haris isn't an ODI bowlers and he was 100% spot on. I think he is very overrated in T20s as well
 
Pakistans bowlers have been trashed by all the big sides ie India, Australia, New Zealand and now England. We also struggled against Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.

Our bowling was a total flop this WC.

Bro our spinners won't trouble anyone, and Babar has never made those field placements that you are suggesting.

You are forgetting who our captain is and who pur spinners are.
 
England are under no pressure. I say 400 is on today. Will Pakistan become the first team to concede 2 scores of 400 in a WC?
 
With this minnow level bowling fans had high hopes their hope for SF qualification
 
Thank God we didn't qualify for the semis another humiliation with the hands of India was on the cards with this patethic bowling attack

It was due to experience of Amir and wahab I think which rubbed off . Here everyone isn’t that experienced. Sarfraz handled them well . Since Amir and wahab both said Sarfraz was sharp so I will go by that
 
Serious question, Is Haris Rauf out of form or he just doesn't have the skillset good enough to be successful in ODI format? He is the biggest flop for me in this WC. I thought he will replicate Akhtar's 1999 WC performance and will set WC on fire. I watched Pak vs Aus match in Bangalore. It cost me a lot of money ( flight tkts, hotel etc), unfortunately, he was terrible. As a neutral (Indian) watching Pak vs Aus, i felt my money went to waste. I just wanted to see Rauf firing all cylinders but he looked lost and not belonging there.
 
Can you remember any other tournament in which the pak bowlers have taken such a beating?

Exactly it's high time we stop selecting based on psl performances. I mean how Zaman Khan made into the reserves are absolutely shocking as well he have played 0 list A game how is that even makes any sense. You're telling me we have no other players performing better than zaman khan ?
