There is daylight between the quality of analysis between Waqar and Morgan:

Eoin Morgan: I always believed that the slower the wicket, the straighter your line needs to be, so you can bring LBW and bowled into the equation. What do you think, Waqar?

He got one, might get couple more if given full quota. I believe SK will bowl also, but the horse might be already bolted. Poms had been stuck by early wickets in this WC - lost 3/4!in first PP - only time they had a good start….. went on to make 364…
 
Last of shadab suffering pkaistan have to go through hopefully abrar will get into the odi team and should be given 1-2 years to settle in

Lol, after 3-4 failures of abrar, shadab will eventually make it to national team again, this has happened in past many times.

seems like magic number range in india is 138 to 145 pace in odi and tests.

When he debuted he was slim, sharp in field, hunger to do well, used his googly effectively and had insane game awareness. Now he has turned completely opposite of what he was during his initial 3-4 years. Need to be dropped till he performs well in domestic cricket.

Morgan is right. Got to bowl the channel on good wickets where there is no pace reduction and maybe go hard lengths.

On slower pitches, the pacers can attack the stumps line a bit more often .

I think Waqar was talking about his own time when the ball used to reverse often PAK always used to attack the stumps back in the day.

Dude plays 6-7 t20 leagues tournament a year that's like $500000+ no matter how crap of a form he will be in teams will pick him so he don't care

Yes, and this is even more vital for spinners. It's literally the M.O. of Jadeja and Rashid Khan
 
Waqar is a cringe ommentator. He needs to talk more entertaining contents and bring up new topics all the time because most of the times he keeps repeating about Pakistan's bowling and what they should do and all about how to use your pace to your strength.

Gotta be more all round in his role as commentator rather than talk like a bowling coach.

That's where PCB has to take stand and not allow them play each and every pyjama league. But to do so, they have to pay them well, which PCB can't afford. The problem is deeper than we think of. PCB is far behind than some of the top teams like SENA in every aspect.

Ramiz raja does that too. Just keeps talking non stop about Pakistan in every game.

Tendulkar is the worst commentator though. He just talks about old innings 😂😂

i mean logically it makes sense. passion to play well for country is gone these days. i dont blame him for leagues. i mean if pcb isnt paying you enough, what would you do ?

although i do think the money they get from pcb is more than sufficient to live comfortably if they make right investments in pakistan despite not playing in cash rich ipl etc.
 
ok. i need to mention this. rauf does not use the full length of the crease for his delivery. so his pace actually becomes slower after pitching. he needs to use the full length of the crease and then he can be more effective. he would reduce the distance from his release point and the time it takes to reach the batsman thereby rushing the player facing him.

right now he is like a good 15 cm behind the crease and that is causing him to loose so much venom.
 
Right arm full toss bowler in action. All the Pakistani bowlers need to play first class cricket

No it's not only about living comfortable life. Players need money to invest on themselves. Players from top teams have personal coaches, trainers, physio and better training facilities of their own. They are not fully dependent on facilities provided by their boards. With these kind of facilities available to them, it is quite obvious that you will be outclassed 9/10 times.
 
England have had the worst batting lineup after NED in this CWC. And PAK have bowled some utter dross in the first 30 overs of ODIs.

Very intriguing contest.
 
What I have noticed that Shadab bowls full toss, when he tries to bowl the loopy slow leg-spin. Normally, that happens when ball doesn’t come out of palm (grip) nicely and ball doesn’t drop in air. May be, he can do a little adjustment in his run-up and approach with a little more angle so that he is completely side on at delivery stride. He is more chest on here, which might give him better control on line, but not the spin or drift.

true so playing leagues to make the big bucks seems like a more viable option in that case.

These pak players don’t care about the team . u hit them for six they will be just all smiling . its so frustrating to see
 
Either short pitch or full toss/half-volley. Does Shadab know that there is something called 'good length' area. This is what happens when you don't play FC cricket. He needs to immediately go back to domestic and learn to bowl 10 over spells, 30 overs in a day.

That was a wide to be honest - good for PAK, not given. I think Riz got unsighted by the reverse sweep attempt (which also saved the side); tried to stop with closing legs as well….
 
Two paced pitch, think 280 will be a stiff challenge unless dew plays havoc.

Eden has changed lot - been there last time in 2003/4 (?) that CAB centenary game between Ind-PAK.
