De Villiers was more impactful then kohli, he wasn't superior though. But he could bat, keep, bowl and was a gun fielder and runner, and could bat virtually anywhere in the order.

I'd choose devillers over kohli if given the choice. However I'm not egotistical to think kohli is below de Villiers. Kohli is a superior bat 100%.
