Fakhar Zaman needs to start going for the tall timber from ball one....if pak need to have a chance they need to pulverise the powerplay....

Difficult for Pak to chase 400 against NZ when they could not chase 367 against AUS on the same ground.

Would be quite something if they did tho.
 
Cornered tigers have been cornered more in first half.

That was my biggest surprise- last time this virtual coach played four pacers at Eden, but that was at least in T20.

Yaar to all the bros saying why did we bowl first. It's either this and chance of rain affected target vs. defending 290 against NZ batting. We will likely lose but best option was try to knock down 340 runs odd in a chase. we failed, it is what it is.

We were talking about how we had the world's best attack prior to the world cup lol.

One loss which is naseem shouldn't make us so impotent. I don't think he would have added much for us either. We would have maybe been more competitive but it wouldn't ha e any bearing on the outcome of the game barring perhaps the SA game.

I was joking.

But fakhar ain't even getting this. For falhar to get this, not only does he need to perform, but he needs a solid support unit like rohit, Makram, Mitchell aka fearless cricketers who play for the team and will be able to atleast keep pace and make sure his efforts aren't in vain and take pressure of him.

Babar and rizzu won't do that. Abdullah, saud and chacha will try but will fail, they ain't those types of players and are forced to play outside their comfort zone.

However, he might have to bide his time, as Lockie Ferguson has regained his fitness and is likely to return to the playing eleven, potentially replacing Henry. Kane Williamson also had an extended net session and is expected to make a comeback, which could mean that Will Young might find himself on the sidelines once again.

In terms of tactics and strategy, Babar Azam has been a significant threat with his last five ODI scores against New Zealand reading 49, 65, 54, 107, 1. However, his performance in the middle overs of this World Cup has been less impressive. The stand-in Kiwi captain has a poor average of 6.2 against the Pakistani pace spearhead and has been dismissed by him four times in ODIs. Bloody hell just sitting in Wellington, NZ and watching us slaughter the Pakistan bowling attack like cattle. If Pakistan lose this game are they out of the world cup? Just curious. Thanks.
 
Pakistan must play positive and if it is their day, they will chase it.

Bowling is mediocre though. Pakistan needs to give a serious look at their bowling after WC.
 
Is there any mathematical genius who can output a scenario where we lose this and still end up in semi finals beating England?

X2 into pie + the coefficient of England + the subtraction of New Zealand multiply by the pythoragus thereum of India will allow us to qualify to semi final if we lose this match
 
Pakistan are screwed.

They don't have the firepower to even dream of chasing anything close to this.

None of them are as big a serial choker as Shaheen is turning out to be :rp

On the bright side, you don't need to worry about Pak batsmen failing in a knockout
