Whatever the condition is, we should not bat second. Afghans always play good against us especially in death overs and we wont see Asif and Nasim kind of performance in every match. Hopefully we bat first and score 250 and then go for a kill. Usama and Shadab both might be good option in these conditions.

Guys there is no need to be harsh on the men in green. Lack of quality is not in their hands. As i said we have already exceeded our expectations by winning two matches i unfortunately dont see any more especially playing them in chennai

No need to be harsh on men in green.

Let’s give them a pat on the back for crashing out of the World Cup.

afghanistan can surprise but not consistently. They have won there last match against england and will be on moon. We can and just need to bring them on earth back which we are capable off

think they have already lost a game in between.

Pakistan have not exceeded expectations at all. The only exception was in the latter half of the SL innings where Rizwan and co masterminded an outrageous chase.

But otherwise as a collective we have been poor with bat, ball and field.

Not much to say "well done" about.

Given the despondency after consecutive defeats maybe the DJ needs to play "Don't Worry Be Happy" tomorrow.

PAK have produced decent cricket in patches only. The Rizwan-Saud partnership vs NED, death bowling vs SL, Abdullah-Rizwan partnership vs SL, 155-2 vs IND (albeit scored too slowly IMO), death bowling vs AUS and opening stand vs AUS are all positives. Shaheen returning to form and taking a 5fer on a belter is a massive plus.

The challenge is translating those good patches across the full 100 overs of an ODI.

The biggest problem is at 7 and 8. Neither Shadab and Nawaz look capable of winning us a match either with bat or ball. May be worth considering Agha at 6 (who plays spin well) with Ifti at 7 and both making up the overs of the 5th bowler.

The next big question is Babar's form. Will he be proactive vs AFG's spinners or will he retreat into his shell before another tame dismissal ?

It's a massive game tomorrow that could either reignite or kill our campaign.

Any reports if there will be any changes to the squad or will they stick with the same sqaud vs Australia

Whoever bats first will have upper hand in game.

Usama Mir should get another chance. They’ve given so many chances to Shadab despite being awful lately and in the past. Why not give Usama another go and maybe he’s able to turn his fortunes.

That guy is useless as he cannot field, it's not he dropped a catch, it's the way he was trying to take the catch, I don't think I have seen the ball sail clear through the gap, between the palms and the chest.

We all know we'll be chasing either way.
Cos Afghanistan want to bat first and Babar is too dumb to realise chasing is tough in this WC.
Chasing isn't tough, it's tough for Pakistan due to the whole take it deep approach.

India has been chasing easily lol

Did you watch the tournament? Indian bowling is far ahead otherwise chasing is very tough for the rest.
I'm watching the tournament, and NZ whole chasing crushed England.

Ind while chasing has been casually strolling along nicely

Even Pakistan chased 346.

The pitches are belters and chasing on this pitch depends on how good the bowling and batting is. This isn't Sri lanka where everyone was struggling. Besides chennai chasing is dependant on how good the bowling is especially at the death

Toothless bowling attacks of England and Pakistan aren't helping lol
