ICCCT Final: Australia V West Indies at Mumbai.

Windies 3/80 after 9-odd overs

80/3 doesnt look that good - Aussies will be well and truly on top if they pluck another wicket.

So its Bracken who is getting all those wickets today!

Lara comes to the crease, time for him to step up to the plate.

OZGOD, when Glenda got hit for that 2nd 6 , Ponting's and Gilly's expressions matched your avatars ! :D

Bracks is bowling alright actually. Maybe I've underrated this bloke. He seems to have learned to move the ball even when the sky is clear.

Yes, I've never rated him either but he's showing himself to be a thinking bowler today.

80/3 off 11. Australia (aka Nathan Bracken) have dragged it back nicely.

Bracks is bowling pretty well, beaten the bat a couple of times.

Bracken is getting alot of swing here.

W.I 83/3 (12)

despite loss off 3 wickets because W.I are off to a flyer bravo and lara can play themselves in slowly and run rate will still probably be above 6.

Bracken has 3/23 from 6 overs hes been superb thus far in the final.

This will be a test for the OZ, if they can come back after that early onslaught.

Two maidens in a row for Pidge after getting pulverised by Gayle early.

Brett lee back

3 overs 0/36 thus far... chanderpaul gave him a beating in his 1st spell.

If we can somehow keep WI down to below 300 I will rate our chances of chasing that down on this wicket.

Lee comes back - maybe he can improve on his 0/36 from 3. :))

Bravo gets beaten for swing and pace by Lee.

Nearly an edge from Bravo off Lee.

Lovely clip off the legs for 4 by Bravo, pure timing.

87/3 (14) @ drinks.

Brilliant catch from Gilchrist. McGrath gets his man. Super bowling

Lara gone, edge and ball just about Carries to Keeper.

excellent catch.

Lara never looked at ease here!

88/4

Mcgrath once again takes out the main opposition top gun in a big game.

Good fightback from the OZ after getting destroyed by Gayle and Shiv earlier. Pidge and Lee could have let their heads drop after getting flayed to all parts of the ground but didn't.

WI runrate still a very healthy 5.68 after 16 overs, down from 8.7 with 4 wickets down.

W.i 91/4

Superb fielding by pointing, almost a run out!

WI took the risk and now they are going to pahy the price... unless of course Bravo gets his 2nd 100.

Not looking good for windies

Misfield in point area, single taken.

W.I 92/4 - bravo 8* morton 1*

I am surprised ICC has not made a new ruling especially since this is being played in Mumbai ....
a team can call a time out to sing and dance to get the players going. maybe a competition within a competition with the two teams competing in two different games

OH NO Symmo coming into the attack. WHY????

He's going to let the pressure valve off!

Morton gone, outside off-stick and slashed into keeper.

Typical mcgrath dismissal.

94/5

Pidge takes Morton's wicket, WI 5/94

The 'Collapso Kings' doing their utmost to lose a game that they get into winning positions!

Lovely straight drive for 4, 100 up for west indies.

Aleem Dar giving Symodns a stiff talking to telling him to calm down ! :19:

Go! Dar-Saab , Go!

6 down for the WI!........

WI will really need to pull off something here if they are going to win this game.

WICKET - The Muppet gets Shamuels for 7. 6/113 after 22 overs. If we can get these guys for 220-odd after they looked likely to break 400 it'll be a good effort and will help us with our chase. With the tide coming in the WI bowlers should get lots of swing which will make batting under lights tough for us.

W.I need to some how bat the full 50 overs here and muster any sort of total.

Would be nice but I can't see it against such a strong bowling line up.
Plus WIndies havent got a Wasim or a Waqar type who used to run through strong batting line-ups and defend low totalsl. Barrimg a miracle I feel this game is over.

Still you never know, cricket is a funny game, and as OZGOOD says, batting under lights is never easy.

Baugh gone LBW.

west indies 7 down now as watson strikes.

WI 7 down now!, they will need to bat the full 50 overs and get any sort of total, even 200 would be good total, batting under lights on this ground is never easy.

Bravo gone plumb lbw kicking ball away off Hogg

125/8

8 down now.........preety much game over now with Bravo out.......Australia have got the match in the bag. :)
