India will choke out at the semi-final stage at best. Hope we can keep our WC record against them intact though by getting knocked out by somebody else!

India is easily the favorite for this tournament. It would be a massive failure for them to not win this tournament in conditions that negate the non Asian sides. Asian sides don't pose much threat to India. In all honesty, India has no business losing this T20 world cup and the 2023 ODI World Cup on home soil. It would be another choke if they lost.
England are the second favorites majorly due to their ability to adjust to the batting conditions. If it's a 200 wicket, everyone can tee off from the start. The lineup is packed with power hitters. But if its 130-140ish wicket, they have the players like Malan, Morgan, Stokes who can play the spinners well and post a competitive score. A lot will depend though on how Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid bowl throughout the tournament.
NZ are next in line. Although I expect them to struggle in their batting but they generally always raise their level in ICC tournaments. They make semi-finals regularly like its no big deal.
Pakistan, WI, Australia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, SL make up the rest of the order of favorites for me.

They're not playing a test match in Dubai mate. The ICC will take care of preparing the wickets and the wickets will be flat as it is always in an ICC tournament, particularly in the WT20.

Not sure. Qadir can't even break into PSL, Nawaz is a rookie, Imad was just dropped, Hassan and Rauf are nothing special. The bowling rides on Shaheen.
He cant break into the psl team due to imran tahir and we know imran is an excellent spinner.hassan is much better bowler than Willey,woakes,Curran,thukar and kumar.
Shaheen is better than all England fast bowlers including archer.only bumrah is ahead of shaheen.

If Azam Khan is benched then we can bring in Hassan Ali who can be just as destructive as Azam Khan.

I know it's a bait thread, but the team does have potential to be among the top competitors at the cup.
Misbah has done hard work with the team. We won both away and home vs South Africa. That was a sign we're improving.
Losing to England C wasn't a concern. We have a history of crumbling vs. the easiest opposition. Happens. We're famous for it.
But as soon as England brought their real side, we absolutely thrashed them.

We saw what India did to Pakistan in the UAE in the Asia Cup.
Pakistan would struggle to beat Afghanistan in LOIs in UAE let alone India.
Pakistan is an abysmal team in all conditions but they reach a new level of mediocrity in UAE.
Both Fakhar and Babar struggle on slow UAE pitches and Pakistan doesn’t have quality spinners.
India will be overwhelming favorites followed by England.
I had no idea that the run was so good for Pakistan in UAE until I looked it up.
That would be becuase Pakistan's 50 over record has been pretty poor in UAE, so you would naturally think they're pretty poor there overall. I guess these low scoring 150 par score wickets are most suited to Pakistani style of play. I hope we can squeeze out 3 more wins.
