By that you mean, he went from a complete rubbish innings to a sub par one day innings whereby he ended eating more than 30 deliveries and despite being in a power play when supposedly set and STILL managed to crawl to 90 strike rate?

Lol. I said remarkable turnaround. I never said that is what the team needs but yea remarkable improvement from where he started from. I myself was appalled at the innings he played in the beginning.

These guys who bat at 6, 7, 8 need to model themselves on razzaq, razzaq never danced around the wicket never moved forward or back he cleared his and hit the ball clean.

Our guys are just so weak, no one has a power game. Its a shame to see this.

He just made a comeback and has not played as much cricket as Stokes and Moin. Give him some time.

First things first, if your number 7 is playing 70 odd balls to score 63, then he is not the problem. He should not even be playing 70 balls at number 7. Problem is top order, not Imad Wasim. When you talk about guys like Stokes or Moeen Ali, they can play with a lot more freedom because they know guys like Butler or Woakes will be coming after them. If Imad Wasim gets for 0 in 2nd ODI, Pakistan would have been bundled out for less than 170. I would have liked few more 1s and 2s in first 20-30 balls from Imad, but in overall context of that Pakistani Inning, Imad batted really well.

He looks much improved player in this series. This is where I think we need to give new players a fair chance to show their skills. At least give the players 15 to 20 LOI matches to show their potential. We fans and selectors need to show patience with new guys as we have shown patience with rubbish seniors.

He is a decent allrounder but so is Nawaz. Nawaz provides more with the ball though.

Problem with Pakistan is Imaad Wasim is an ideal cricketer to have IF you have a top solid order!!! Why don't any of you understand this simple concept?! He's not a top order batsman, he's not a Shane Watson, Mitchell Marsh, or a Glenn Maxwell, but his role is like that of players like Ashwin, Woakes, Santner etc. He should comes in at number 7 with a good solid platform laid for him and let the guy flourish!!! Today he comes in at number 7 in the 26th over and plays a PERFECT innings in my opinion. Sarfraz let him down by throwing his wicket away and becoming all relaxed after getting his hundred.

Issue is simple but solving it is a HUGE problem. What Pakistan needs is a more dynamic number 3 LIKE an Umar Akmal, and they need explosive openers (or at least have one explosive opener). Sharjeel is not explosive and is a tulla which you cannot rely on. 4,5,6 are perfect in my opinion. The final problem is finding a number 8 who can slog you a few big ones aka your afridi role.

So... Issue is Number 1,2,3 and 8. I personally don't mind giving Sami aslam a go at number 1, he's young and his technique is good... Perhaps introduce him into ODI after playing him in tests like New Zealand did with Williamson and England have done with root...

Aslam needs to show improvement from here on, but should not be dropped after 5-6 matches. I think PCB should try to get him a contract for 2017 county season (LA and FC).

No arguments there, top order and middle order is very weak. Azhar Ali and Malik should not be in ODI team. If you need presence of experience head in middle order then play one of them (I would prefer Malik), but not both.

It is harsh to drop him from the team.His is a decent bowler and can take 1\2 wickets without allowing the batsmen to score freely.Basically,he is left-handed version of Hafeez.And people underrate his batting skills.He can bat with above 100 strike rate and can also play long innings.He usually comes after 45 overs due to which he has not been able to showcase his batting talent.And,unlike Hafeez and Malik,Imad is not dud against pacers.
