I was just imagining the RCB team squad with Mohammad Aamir & Hasan Ali inclusion in IPL.

Chris Gayle
Virat Kohli (c)
AB Devillier (wk)
KL Rahul
Kedhar Jhadav
Stuart Binny (All rounder)
Pawan Negi
Sreenath Aravind
Aniket Choudhary
Hasan Ali
Mohammad Aamir

Do you think with this squad RCB can become an unbeatable team in IPL under the captaincy of Virat Kohli? :broad :azhar2

What are these two going to do with chokers all around them? :yk

And only 4 foreigners can play in the XI.

Bowling loses more matches for RCB. If it were for Kohli, he would have fielded this bowling attack

Shadab
Arvind
Hassan
Amir
Junaid

Yes, you can see I've included only 4 foreigners and yaar its just imagination. I really like Kohli. Honestly, I feel the guy always try to win the match for his team but the bowlers always let him down. Somewhere, I feel that Kohli always want Aamir in his team at some level.

I've kept the limitation of 4 overseas players. If you will be selecting this then you will have tot exclude gayle and de villiers from this squad.

Will do wonders for RCB, to have 2 top bowlers in a team which is deprived of quality bowling will be excellent for them and I am sure Virat too would have this desire.

They already have Starc and Badree so it's not like their bowling resources are bad.. Last season both didn't play I think(not sure about badree can't remember him playing) and their batting up top consists of an over the hill Chris Gayle who is bound to fail 9 out of 10 times...

Hasan and Amir would make no difference..

Also why chose RCB? They aren't even the most decked IPL batting line up that was Deccan Chagers in first season with Gilly, Gibbs, Afridi, Rohit, Symonds maybe some others I missed with the legendary T20 expert VVS Laxman leading them.. Hasan and Amir would have helped that team win a couple more games I guess than they originally did..

They already have 2 top notch T20 bowlers who will fill he foreign players quota in Starc and Badree if they both don't get injured.. Their batting just isn't as potent now with Gayle way too old and AB not consistent

Badree played last season and got a hat trick too.

IPL still wouldn't consider Pak players, they haven't done so for years and the win in the CT 2017 final won't change that mindset.

@fazanafzal

15 posts in 7 years of being on PP.. damn you need to UP the ante mate

I'm making a record here to play the slowest innings. I joined this forum when Misbah came onto the crease in WC 2011 semi final. So, I'm competing with him actually :djb

No thanks, that is never happening and gladly so.

No thanks, BCCI won't allow Pak players in IPL in next decade at least .. end of !

No thanks. India is an enemy state. Plain and simple. Also, with the emergence of PSL, I doubt the players care to play in the IPL.

Pak players in IPL ain't happening, teams are too cautious of loosing local support , especially in these troubled times.

Why don't you guys just keep them to the PSL and build up your standards ? If the PSL becomes hot property money hungry ICC will find one or the other way for the club teams to play each other . !

With the amount of money they can make from IPL they will surely play in IPL if relations were normal between both the sides..

Sickening to see the obsession from Pakistani's about IPL specially considering how Indians as a whole are against our players being included. Have a ounce of self respect and stop giving IPL any importance.

I can see why you'd say that; but I think the players are highly motivated, to play in their own league.. It's growing and will continue to blossom. Personally no Pakistani should play in the IPL, as unfortunately India is an enemy state and reguarly sponsors terrorism in Pakistan.. I don't think Pakistani players have the appetite nor desire to play in India either.

P.S. The money is decent for now. They'll be fine. 😎

No one is saying they can only play in one league.. If relations are normal they will come and play in IPL there is no doubt about that, all the being enemy state etc stuff is only good for pseudo nationalists and online fans the players themselves are friends with each other and respect each other as you can see from post match videos of Kohli, Yuvi, Dhoni etc with Pakistani players..

Your personal opinion that they should not play is just your opinion.. If relations become good then we will definitely see Pakistani players in IPL and maybe fringe some Indian players in PSL if BCCI changes its stance of allowing players in other leagues.. However I don't situation changing anytime in future so his would not happen for atleast next 5 years..

We win one of the biggest games in our history and your response is to blabber on about IPL?

Imagine Kohli in Lahore Qalandars or Karachi Kings. Their fortunes might change. :azhar2

I respect your opinion and we'll just agree to disagree. Assuming you're Indian; you don't know about the mood in Pakistan.. India has managed to deteriorate the relationship to a point where India is literally detested amongst the masses, banning: artists, stars, movies and players. Smh.... Anyone with an iota of self esteem and shame would keep away from the IPL. Just my two cents worth.

They are such a narcissistic bunch, it's painful to watch. What part of "you can keep IPL to yourself" don't they get? 😐

You are missing the main point of my argument "If the relationship improve"... With current mood Pakistani players won't be allowed in IPL anyways so there is no question here.. Question is when the relations improve and a hardline stance by the GOI is softened to allow Pak players (that will only happen when mood amongst mass public is cool with Pakistan) then you will obviously see Pak players in IPL..

It won't happen the tensions and relations have been soured beyond repair IMO now and we will have to live with being enemy state with each other so the question is kinda hypothetical tbh

First of all it is never happening.
Secondly, Pakistan should never send their bowlers to IPL. This will totally destroy them. Their thinking will change into containing runs rather than taking wickets on those flat pattas.

I guess I'm trying to convey India doesn't dictate the terms in the relationship. The damage has been done, we both agree upon that and the status quo suits both. Anyhoo, I hope Pakistanis never play in the IPL out of self respect. I mean I'd rather jump off the precipice and splatter across the rocks below than to earn money in India.. If I were a citizen of Pakistan.

Pls no. Let's hope they don't play in IPL ever. No Pakistan player should. I'd rather they play Big Bash and the new South African league to earn money and get exposure to alien conditions, not play in a slog fest.

Come on guys. It was just a hypothetical thread. I know thats never gonna happen in that Pakistanis are going to play in IPL. But the way Kohli shows respect towards Aamir. This was just my imagination if someday we might see them in one team. The world's best batsman and the world's best bowler. What a team that would be.

All of you guys are coming on me like I've just received a go ahead from BCCI that they are going to include the Pakistani players in IPL. Calm down guys.

For Pakistani friends, I personally believe that T20 Leagues ruins the fast bowlers.

For Indian friends, IPL is not a precious gem anymore that everyone wants there to go now. With many ongoing leagues, the value of IPL will not be at that level after certain period of time like it was couple of years ago specially after introduction of SA Global T20 League.

Friend, i already get to see them together in the pakistani Team. What more could be exciting? What else could be more apealing to me? Nothing.

And for t20 fun we already have our PSL.

Who gives a * about IPL... the most boring circus Mickey Mouse sport on this planet

If amir was to be in IPL Auction i can bet that Kohli will get him at any price tag..Amir and Starc opening the bowling for any side would be special
