Just thinking how captain can make difference . Sarfraz was trying so hard to stay at crease and didnt try his sweeps for sake of team. now imagine afridi in that situation would have skied one in air and game done .then came in presser and said Talent nahi hai team me"" :afridi1

Or even Misbah. We would have lost by 60 runs.

Well, that's an easy question because there's only 2 scenarios. We lose in a couple of overs or win in a couple of overs.

Or even Misbah. We would have lost by 60 runs.

Nah Misbah would put all the pressure on Amir to score the runs while he would just be content to block all the deliveries and try to remain not out irrespective of the team situation.

this!!was about to make a thread on this

He is the biggest choker. Can't finish game even his life depended on it.

Wasn't he dropped 2 times playing afridi like shots? Take no credit away... but this was by far not a perfect innings by sarfraz!!

We would have lost because Afridi isnt lucky enough to be given so many lives because he isnt a Hafiz :yk

60 required off 4 overs, with Misbah and a tailender at the other end so he has to farm the strike... with Misbah batting on 61 of 98 deliveries

THis was not a regulation bilateral series either, it was a big tournament with all sides playing with a virtual semi final spot for grabs.. big pressure

Misbah once was in this position vs SL. He lost us the match at the toss. Remember AsiaCup 2014 final?

both were good balls. This is the most patient Sarfraz innings I have seen. He didnt play his favorite sweep shot just because it was risky and 1 mistake Pakistan are out.

Exactly the same question crossed my mind - he would have hit two three sixes and skier to get out.

Afridi would have closed his eyes, smash and hope for the best

Afridi is a bowler and batted at no 8, I don't understand why you are comparing him with Sarfaraz.

Are you just looking for an excuse to bash Afridi? Get a life and move on already...

If Afridi was dropped twice, the game would be finished 10 overs before. Sarfraz tried hard, battled hard, gave all his effort but threw it away twice only to be let off. He needs to clam himself next time, too much emotions and nervous energy coming out of him.

This is a redundant topic now but Afridi only batted 42 times at #8 or lower... out of 369 ODI innings.

pretty much summed it up. Go big or go home is the Boom Boom man's game.

Misbah Afridi Malik Hafeez are all bottlers under the pump Sarfraz has passed one such situ will help him in future plus his kaptaani good or bad is vastly different from so called aggressors Afridi and so called mature leader Misbah all in all a breath of fresh air (taaza hawa ka jhonka) :tuq

Well didn't Sarfaraz threw it away when he handed an easy catch to Perrera, only for him to drop. Then another catch was dropped of him.
