Pakistan opener Imamul Haq has been allegedly accused of cheating with multiple women, after screenshots of his WhatsApp conversations went viral on social media.

According to details, Imam manipulated seven to eight women by dating them at the same time. The incidents took place over the past six months.

The person who posted the screenshots on social media also claimed that additional pictorial and video evidence was also available but it will only be shared if the victims agree.

In 2017, Imam made his debut for Pakistan in a one-day international (ODI) against Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi — where he scored a century. The left-handed batsman has featured in 10 Tests, 36 ODIs and a solitary Twenty20 International (T20I) match for Pakistan, over the course of his career.

The 23-year-old was also part of Pakistan’s 2019 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup squad.

Conversations were consensual because the girls didnt know they were being cheated on. No girl (or at least not most) would consent to be with a guy who has so many other girlfriends. I will have to concede one thing here. Its hard to punish someone for it because of so many factors involved. But people defending him by saying it was consensual need to rethink it i believe. The essence of consent is lost when the facts or terms arent made clear (that he was cheating).

In the subsequent posts i did say that its hard to punish someone for cheating in such relationships.
However, you are equating a small issue of being rude with an issue of cheating and fraud which can have life altering consequences in context of a conservative society. Its a false equivalence and you are smart enough to understand that.
