Yes of course. I look forward to the day there is an open border.

Unfortunately many of us are blinded by prejudice towards Afghanistan. We blame them for our mistakes rather than introspecting. This is why we are a laughing stock.

I am in the favor of opening the border with Afghanistan and don't suffer with the same anti-afghan and anti-pukhtoon hate and bias that many Pakistanis particularly and ironically those supporting/belonging to liberal and secular ethnic parties like MQM suffer from...

But you can't look at history in a vacuum, Pakistan does have a history of meddling in Afghanistan's affairs but that's what any pragmatic nation would have done to safeguard it's interest.

Afghanistan always had issues with Pakitan's creation, in fact going all the way back to drawing of Durand line, even before the creation of Pakistan . It still doesn't accepts Durrand line as an international border and officially still claims all lands in Pakistan upto river Indus, which would also entitle it Pakistan's biggest metropolis and cash cow, Karachi...

Afghanistan hadn't been up to no good inside of Pakistan long before the latter started using proxies to protect it's interest in Pakistan. The fanning of and support of the Pukhtoonistan movement, followed by general sabotage and terrorist activities/attacks in Pakistan started soon after Pakistan's creation and continue to this day...
