Pakistan economy in worst shape compared to last year. Surely something is wrong!?

2022 was a great year for Pakistan because the most incompetent PM & the most incompetent government in Pakistan history were kicked out & InshAllah, they will never be in power again.

Imran had no economic vision. He changed his finance minister more often than he changed his clothes which exposed his lack of vision & clarity.

Each finance minister came with his own ideology & policies which created a huge mess. The end result was that Imran’s government completely destroyed & crippled the economy.

They halted imports but failed to build a mechanism that would boost exports. This led to the death of the economy.

It will take a while before the current government can turn things around. They inherited the economy in a very delicate phase but under the competent leadership of Shehbaz & Dar, we can hope that 2023 would be a much better year than 2022.

I know millions are celebrating his demise, so many infact that you cant wait to hold elections)))))).
Look at the amazing turn around in the economy- growing at 6% now in recession, big industry growing at historic levels- now look at the amazing success of many industries closing down. Look at inflation -12% when he was in power, today at 40%, or look at the market rate of rp, 173 when he was in power, today an amazing success story of pegged rate of 225, real rate at 260. Foreign exchange reserves at 17bn, today at zero. Well with those sort of numbers, no wonder you support the thugs. As we have seen you have run like NS from the economics thread.

Under him we had democracy. today we have millitary rule, something you dont have the balls to comment on. Under him the only journalists murdered were under Billlo, today they are being killed and arrested on a daily basis by the Junta/mafia. Under him we had elections today we have crooks openly defying court orders. Under him, PKs could do long marches and when they arrived they were given space and medicine, today your cowards are trying to kill them.

Only an idiot cant see what the thugs have done to PK. They have quite literally bankrupted PK
