Imran Khan should resign as Prime Minister for letting Nawaz Sharif leave the country

If I ask you to prove about my allegedly lies you supposedly exposed, i bet you won’t be able to prove it. Umpteenth times you have made allegations but found nowhere to back with concrete evidences much like Imran Khan. Who are you trying to fool here?

I not sure how the justice system works in your head but you alleged that IK had stolen money, i asked you to show me any evidence or even better a prosecution from your govt with all its resources, and guess what nothing. What a surprise!
Then you alleged "It is more like main establishment and Imran Khan are begging Nawaz Sharif" and i showed you the evidence of the duffer begging the SC to go abroad, remember he has been in power 3 times and couldnt build one hospital which he could use( if you had any shame, you would be ashamed with that fact alone).
How many lies of yours do you want me to expose. Nooras are happy to get humiliated on here everyday and i am happy to dish out the humiliation.

I am afraid Imran Khan is looking like an idiot now. He is doing things he so strongly opposed prior to being elected PM. This pacifist rubbish he keeps going on about is fooling anyone of the fact that many of his policies have failed. Just a matter of time before he does another U turn.

Are you pretending to be naive or you are one?

Considering what just happened is forcing Imran Khan to u-turn promises as opposed to keep Nawaz Sharif locked up until money are recovered or do the time depending on the crime.

It appears none of them are happening. Solutions have been prepared to force Nawaz Sharif but to no avail.
Now they are begging him to leave despite of so-called flimsy excuses like reparation or don’t get to rule again even though this is third time making play for re-election while main establishment and Imran khan knowingly well yet they are begging [read between the lines] him to leave unharmed while still alive without doing the time for the crime in regards to accountability or better yet, lack of returning looted money in exchange for freedom.

I know it is not easy being Imranistan given the endless blunders recently with this topping the chart as we speak.

You are demanding those reasons while the court is in your ball to execute. Only Imranistan are capable of being clueless as Imran khan.

"Islamabad: Pakistan’s jailed former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday moved the Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking bail on medical grounds in the Al Azizia corruption case.

The Supreme Court earlier this month dismissed the 69-year-old three-time prime minister’s review petition seeking permanent bail on medical grounds and the permission to go abroad for treatment.

Sharif returned to the Kot Lakhpat jail on May 7 to serve his seven-year prison term in the case after the end of his six-week bail, which was granted to him on medical grounds with a condition that he would not leave Pakistan.

Opinions of specialist doctors from Switzerland, the United States and the United Kingdom have been included in the petition filed at the high court by Sharif’s counsel Khawaja Haris, the Express Tribune reported.

Remind us who is begging? If you are right then why is he leaving, here is a thought, he could say no, and if he is a man, he would say no. You live in fantasy land NOORastan and there is no hope for you.

According to the medical board, Nawaz is suffering from numerous diseases,” the petition said.

Typical noora and ppp talk, criticize IK for being inconsiderate to NS, AZ and now that they are finally being sent abroad, he is being criticized for his uturn. Damned if you do and Damned it you don't

If NS pays nothing( and by nothing at least a $1bn) then IK needs to go because he would have betrayed a poor country. Looking at his confidence today, i think he has what he wants which is at least of $2bn. The reality is that the Judiciary is so corrupt that NS would serve little time, getting out on one excuse or another, remember last week, when Minullah asked IK to guarantee that he wouldnt die until Tues.

$2 billion? It should be around $30-45 billion atleast

I am neither Noora nor Poora or anything else. IK should force Zardari and NS to be treated in Pak like he said prior to being elected. I never criticised IK for not being compassionate enough towards these two thieves.

You havent but there other idiots who tell us on here and in the media that IK is a fascist dictator. I think that IK would have liked them to do their time but we have a judiciary that is in the hands of the corrupt( IHC and LHC) and he probably realised that this is the best deal he could get for PK. If he has let them go without getting billions, the quite simply IK has to resign.

I never alleged but you did and still do. There is the difference.

If you do the math between the possible misuse funding on hospital and dharnas that costs million dollars to organize. You gotta ask the questions where does the money come from in regards to running dharnas since Imran Khan is not rich enough to afford the house he lives in Islamabad never mind the cost of organizing dharnas.

And you have been avoiding this like plague. So i am gonna repeat it as long as i can even if i am being falsely accused of something i didn't do or said, then so be it.

Ask him why NS wants to leave and watch him run!

Because main establishment and Imran Khan wants him to leave due to possible fact that he could die hence scared? They are scared of possible facing economic sanctions if something happens to Nawaz Sharif.

Medical ground is just excuse that has been playing since he was jailed. Maryam Nawaz needs Martyr card to come into the power. Take your wild guess.

Angered by move to remove thief's name from ECL. He is a corrupt thief and he deserves to be buried as one, but sad in Pakistan mazloomiat sells and if this thief dies in Pak the Nooras will sell his death for next 30 years and he will become another Bhutto.

Wherever he goes there will be Pakistanis I hope he gets an earful and embarrassing moments till his dying day.

Bhagora Bhaag Raha Hai

Can’t believe IK is letting this thief get away. If he doesn’t pay up then I’m sorry but IK has to go. What a disappointment.

Remind us who is begging? If you are right then why is he leaving, here is a thought, he could say no, and if he is a man, he would say no. You live in fantasy land NOORastan and there is no hope for you.

That medical card has been played since the beginning. It was rejected every times while he refused medical treatment or so the news say. The news said many things but one thing remained consistent that he refused to get treatment. He refused to cooperate. He refused to admit he was wrong. He refused to give in. Despite of all the pressure tactics employed so far, they failed miserably.

If anything, they are letting [begging] him go because they want him no longer at air-conditioning medical room? How stupid do you think the Awaam is?

That is what Imranistan are avoiding on purpose.

I want Nawaz to be punished. He must be accounted for the crime [looted money]. He must do the time [jail]. Even if it means hanging him to death, then so be it. That would add some values on accountability.

Unfortunately, they introduced accountability process at the wrong time when the nation was trying to stabilize convincing the worlds that Pakistan was safe to invest in with democracy at helm.

Now they have done the irreparable damage with the accountability process. But once they made decision with accountability process, they should stick with it and shows Pakistan that the accountability applies to everyone and it will be carried regardless of the situation.

Now the main establishment and Imran Khan are making mockery of the accountability process. They never had intention to see it through. One blunder after another blunder and this is mother of all - topping the chart jeopardizing everything Pakistan has gone through.

This is third time main establishment stick to where it didn't belong and as usual, made the blunders - AGAIN.

Can’t believe IK is letting this thief get away. If he doesn’t pay up then I’m sorry but IK has to go. What a disappointment.

Imran has as much say in this as any man on the street. He has no authority or relevance when it comes to important matters. He just the front man.

Pakistan will be fine,

IK will complete 5 years,

NS and zardari will never hold any public office, none of the descendant of Zardari nor NS will ever become PM of Pakistan,

Shabbaz Sharif will never be elected as PM of Pakistan.

Pakistan’s economy is projected to get better.

And democracy will continue to strengthen.

Don’t let people with agenda work you up, they want old system back for their bank account and it isn’t coming back.

It's not Govt fault if Court decides to do so. And you very well know about court. Nawaz is re-paying the looted money so its enough i guess.

Very well said.

Well we are told that Nawaz will not lick the BOOTS, but now he is licking Peshawari Chappal :)))

If the establishment is pulling the cards on this one, Imran Khan needs to come out and tell the public.

If Imran Khan is being pushed by upper powers to let Nawaz go, Imran Khan should resign and end this whole circus.

It's not Govt fault if Court decides to do so. And you very well know about court. Nawaz is re-paying the looted money so its enough i guess.

Then IK should just bring down the whole system. I don't know what he's waiting for.

Watch Imran Khan at Kartharpur ceremony, he doesn’t seem to ve any bad conscience. I haven't seen him giving people any explanation or statement on Nawaz’s release. As a paid Actor..

He doesn’t care!

I think the real “deal” was that the opposition would not pursue the foreign funding case in exchange of Nawaz’s release. This is a gift for the selected actor from the military establishment. No wonder he looked happier than an innocent child.

I am confused with this reply. Why did he play the medical card to go abroad? Why was he begging to go abroad? You said IK is begging, so the obvious question to any Noora is- why not refuse. You are so desperate to come up with something that you got no idea what you are writing. You really are the stereotypical Noora.

More like he has what he wants and that is the money.

The Foreigner funding case at best a fine. It will also be interesting when your mafia also have to show their funding from abroad because sooner or later the ECP have to take up their cases. So suck on it loser.

A puppet cannot do anything on its own.

But according to [MENTION=131701]Mamoon[/MENTION] he is Taliban Khan, who is a fascist dictator. But the Fake Mullah he supports tells us he is a zionist agent. All you losers are just desperate.

Imran has as much say in this as any man on the street. He has no authority or relevance when it comes to important matters. He just the front man.

But isn't he the Fascist dictator that you described. The mental midget strikes again.

Wouldn't sweat much over this. Pakistan is headed towards right direction. Imran will do his 5 years and will be reelected again. Pakistan is fed up with choor and khandani dakooz treating PM seat as khandan ki jageer so there is no chance they are coming back.

The naysayers here will keep crying till the end. These fan boys of choors and dakooz have too short term of a memory of where this country has been under others. People who cry for fruitful returns in a year and compare his tenure with decade long corrupt choors are simply too thick in the head to understand social and economic reforms. They are in literal terms jahils and idiots.

All Imran needs to focus on is transparency, governance and corruption so it can bear positive results in the long run. He's not there to turn the country upside down, neither anyone could do that to a corrupt, looted third world poor country, but he is definitely better than all others and will set good stepping stones for the rest to follow. If this nation stays sane in the future then it will bring people like Imran back, if they are bound to be living in cr@p then they will bring back choor corrupt likes of Nooras and Zardari.

Doctors struggle with Nawaz's fitness for travel

As former prime minister Nawaz Sharif awaits his removal from the Exit Control List (ECL), doctors on Sunday continued to struggle to get his platelet levels up to the required mark for travel to London.

PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said that a high dose of steroids had been administered to Nawaz in preparation for his expected departure tomorrow (Monday).

"Doctors have warned against giving him such high doses of steroids repeatedly," she said. "They cannot risk any further damage in trying to get his platelet levels to rise."

Aurangzeb said that the drop in the former premier's platelet levels continues to worry doctors. "They are ambivalent about how to approach his treatment. They worry there might be a further deterioration in his health."

The PML-N leader said that if Nawaz's health worsens any further, it will be "almost impossible to take him abroad".

According to doctors "every single moment is precious" when it comes to getting Nawaz treated. "As time passes by, the threats to his health increase. It is imperative we send him abroad for treatment immediately," they said.

The Islamabad High Court had last week granted bail to Nawaz for eight weeks, suspending his seven-year sentence in the Al-Azizia Steel Mills corruption reference on medical grounds. Earlier, he had also secured bail in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case from the Lahore High Court on the same grounds.

Delay in departure
The government on Saturday had delayed the removal of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s name from the no-fly list, thus forcing a change in his plan to leave for London for treatment on Sunday.

Both the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the Ministry of Interior couldn’t arrive at a decision regarding the removal of the name of the PML-N supremo from the ECL for one reason or another.

“Nawaz Sharif, 69, was due to leave for London on Sunday (today) morning on a PIA flight along with his brother Shehbaz Sharif. All arrangements were finalised but at the eleventh hour the PTI government played a trick and did not remove his name from the ECL,” a source told Dawn. He recalled that the government on Friday had stated that removal of Nawaz’s name from the no-fly list was just a formality.

Nawaz's daughter Maryam Nawaz will not be able to accompany her father abroad as she had to surrender her passport in order to secure her release on bail in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.

Interior ministry forwards ECL matter to NAB
The Interior Ministry had issued a statement on Friday, saying that it had received a formal application from Shehbaz for the removal of Nawaz's name from the ECL on health grounds and treatment abroad. It said it had referred the matter to NAB. Shehbaz had also sent a similar request to NAB.

The ministry had said it also forwarded Nawaz's health reports received from Sharif Medical City, Lahore to the "Standing Medical Board" for their input and review.

The statement said that the ministry took all necessary actions keeping in view the urgency of the matter as pleaded by Shehbaz Sharif in his request.

'Extremely critical'
On Thursday, Aurangzeb had said that an emergency meeting of the board of doctors treating Nawaz had been called after his platelets dropped to a dangerous level again.

In a statement, she had said the doctors had declared Nawaz's condition “extremely critical”, adding that despite all possible treatments in Pakistan, his condition was not improving and it was recommended he seek treatment abroad.

The former prime minister was shifted to an intensive care unit (ICU) set up at his Jati Umra residence from the Services Hospital on Wednesday. The PML-N said the specialised ICU was set up at the residence on “doctors’ recommendations” and Sharif Medical City’s doctors would be available there round the clock.

During the course of treatment at the Services Institute of Medical Sciences where he had been admitted for 16 days, the former premier had suffered an angina attack, besides complaints of bleeding from gums and some other parts, because of his fluctuating platelets

Transparency? Where are the details of Nawaz’s deal? Malik Riaz deal? Amnesty for Tax dodgers? What happened to Oil discovery in Arabian Sea?.....

You ve to accept the problem first before finding the cure. IK is a finger puppet and those pulling the strings are the real Evil Pakistan is facing (since its inception)!

What about MR? Arent you a little embarrassed by your blatant lie? MR is a friend of NS and AZ and you are blaming IK? As far as the deal with NS is concerned, you said you are an admirer of NS, so why doesn't your man reveal what he has agreed to? As I am concerned, if IK doesn't reveal the details of what he has agreed to then he will be voted out.

He wants to focus on a case worth $500,000 to $1,000,000 at best and forgo cases worth $64 billion. It just shows the character of these nooras and Zardari fan girls

So you avoided the entire post that focuses on the core of the campaign including your mini Imran-Khan mode flat-on allegations after allegations with no evidence to back.

The medical card has been played throughout the show, and it is same card that has been justified by Imran Khan recently to mask the incompetence and failure using air-conditioning room in the desperate way.

Main establishment, Imran Khan and everyone that are involved using medical card. Because it beats why Nawaz Sharif is leaving unharmed, unaccounted, unpunished and most importantly, not guilty.

As i said repeatedly, who are you fooling here. Even the nation is seeing through Imran Khan.

Don’t be ridiculous. No one is paying me a dime for criticizing PTI on an Internet forum. If it was so easy, everyone would be doing it including you.

The combined corruption of Nawaz and Zardari pales in comparison to the corruption of the military elite. Why is no one holding them accountable?

I agree with you. People need to understand who is taking all the money. we always blame on PP and NL. Who will audit the army? we all talk about Nawaz and asif having assets outside of country but no one mentions musharaf's assets in USA or other countries?
Where that money go when we had earthquake in 2005?
Who is gonna do ihtasab of army?
Where is the money that IMF just gave to imran?

So is Imran Khan lying when he says that no deal was made?

OR his supporters are lying when they say that a deal was made and Pakistan get X amount of money back?

Expecting Nawaz Sharif to 'pay' billions is unrealistic. It's not like he has the money sitting in a bank account that he can transfer at will.

So is Imran Khan lying when he says that no deal was made?

OR his supporters are lying when they say that a deal was made and Pakistan get X amount of money back?

12 billion dollars is a ridiculously exaggerated figure. If he has stolen that much money (and then you can add 12 billion for Zardari as well), Pakistan would be as poor as Yemen.

Besides, 12 billion dollars would clear our external debt. So if we have the money already, by when can we expect to be debt-free, and when are we going to return the IMF loans?

PTI stooges in the media are not fooling anyone with this drama.

The chief spokesperson for the government, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, on Monday said that the decision to remove former prime minister Nawaz Sharif's name from the no-fly list will be taken in light of recommendations of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the medical board.

"The government itself does not place any individual's name on the ECL (exit control list). Names are placed on the ECL on the recommendations given by NAB and the courts. Now that an application has been filed for the name to be removed, the same process is being followed," the special assistant to the prime minister on information told the media after her hearing in the Islamabad High Court in a contempt case.

"Hopefully, today we will receive NAB's recommendations. [...] NAB is the plaintiff in this case, he (Nawaz) is a suspect in [a case being probed by] NAB and was convicted by an accountability court.

"Secondly, the recommendations attached with the application filed are made by a medical board of Sharif Medical City. The government does not take decisions in light of directions from a private medical board, it was important to take the opinion of the government's medical board."

Awan said that reports from NAB and the medical board were delayed due to the weekend and added that a review committee in the law ministry would "analyse" opinions of both bodies after which the matter would be forwarded to the cabinet.

PML-N expresses concern over delay in ECL removal
PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb expressed concern over the delay in removing Nawaz's name from the ECL.

In a statement issued today, Aurangzeb said that the medical board formed by the government had already recommended that Nawaz should be sent abroad for treatment as soon as possible. She said that the medical board had also recommended sending him abroad following a meeting last night.

Aurangzeb said that once the former premier's name is removed from the ECL other arrangements, such as arranging an air ambulance and sending the premier abroad, will start.

She said that the delay in removing Nawaz's name from the ECL poses a threat to his life.

Additionally, Nawaz's personal physician Dr Adnan Khan said any delay in sending the former premier abroad could increase the risk to his health.

Medical board asked for detailed report
Meanwhile, addressing a press conference, Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid said that an application had been submitted to the Ministry of Interior to permit Nawaz to go abroad for treatment.

Following this, the interior ministry had written to the health ministry asking them to get the opinion of the medical board. In response to this, the board said they had written a discharge summary and had provided all the details of the tests that needed to be carried out, adding that they [interior ministry] should act as they find suitable.

However, the interior ministry said they wanted a detailed report particularly regarding whether Nawaz should be sent abroad or not.

She said that the board met last night and based on their analysis, they feel that because the former premier's condition isn't stabilising and there may be tests that can't be done in Pakistan, they recommend that he should be sent abroad.

Rashid said the health ministry had written to the medical board informing them that they had found some shortfalls in the report and could not send it to the interior ministry.

They had told the board to provide details of "each test or intervention required with risk factor involved to be specifically mentioned".

The provincial health minister said that they asked the board about which tests can be conducted in Pakistan's public sector hospitals and which ones cannot. Additionally, they asked which tests can be sent abroad and why Nawaz is a high-risk patient.

In response to a question regarding whether there was pressure on the medical board, Rashid said: "Being a doctor myself [...] when I read the report, I felt that it was insufficient.

"We have not put any sort of political pressure on anyone. I think the board is completely independent, you can ask any board member."

Request for Nawaz to go abroad
Nawaz was rushed from Kot Lakhpat jail to the hospital last month after his personal physician Dr Adnan Khan raised an alarm over his deteriorating health. Doctors have been struggling to bring his platelet count — that had dropped to dangerous levels — back to normal.

PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif had last week submitted a request to the interior ministry as well as NAB for the removal of Nawaz's name from the ECL so that the former prime minister could travel abroad for medical treatment. Nawaz has been diagnosed with an immune system disorder and his condition is said to be "extremely critical".

“Nawaz Sharif has finally agreed to go to London after the doctors told him categorically that they had already exhausted all medical treatment [options] available in Pakistan and going abroad is the only option left,” a Sharif family source told Dawn on Thursday.

In a statement, the interior ministry said last week that it had forwarded Nawaz's health reports received from Sharif Medical City, Lahore to the "Standing Medical Board" for their input and review.

The statement said that the ministry took all necessary actions keeping in view the urgency of the matter as pleaded by Shehbaz in his request.

There were reports that the former prime minister may leave for London today; however, the procedure to remove his name from the no-fly list remains incomplete. In addition, his platelet count remained unstable and, according to Aurangzeb, doctors continued to struggle to get his platelet levels up to the required mark for travel.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Sunday said that “legal obstacles” to Sharif's departure were being removed as doctors had stressed that medical treatment abroad was needed to save his life.

“The government has given importance to the doctors' opinion,” Qureshi told reporters in Multan.

“We pray to God for his recovery, so that he returns with good health and takes part in politics,” he added.

Nawaz, who was incarcerated after an accountability court found him guilty in the Al Azizia corruption reference, was granted bail by the Islamabad High Court on humanitarian grounds. He also obtained bail in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case, in which he is a suspect, from the Lahore High Court.

Nawaz's daughter Maryam will not be able to accompany her father abroad as she had to surrender her passport in order to secure her release on bail in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.

Decision to remove Nawaz's name from ECL to be taken in light of NAB, medical board's reports: Awan

Meanwhile, speaking to media in Lahore, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar said that he has personally contacted all relevant institutions regarding the legalities that need to be issued to send the former premier abroad.

"I have personally contacted all relevant institutions and I believe that today his name will be removed from the ECL and he [Nawaz] can travel wherever he wants," said the governor.

Sarwar added that after the medical board had said that Nawaz should go abroad, the government had adopted a very clear stance that sending him abroad as soon as possible is better, as they don't want to take any risk regarding the former premier's health.

In the afternoon, NAB said it has received Nawaz's medical reports from the Ministry of Interior and will give its opinion according to the law.

"After due process of law [we] will give our opinion as per law in due course of time," a spokesperson for the accountability watchdog told DawnNewsTV.

He hasn't been allowed to leave, yet. But if he is allowed to leave, without making his confession and money deal public, then it should be considered NRO, which will be PM IK's political demise for sure. I don't know how will the fellow voters/supporters defend this NRO then.

But You said they want to send him abroad, sending him abroad will not save him from death, it will happen regardless, so why doesnt he say no!

Anyone who says yes doesn’t logically make sense while your Imran Khan is begging him to say yes? You avoided the entire post, propaganda, campaign, allegations without evidence to this philosophical now.

So I guess it is your way of saying you have no answer precisely to the main core of the debate. I am moving on from our debate while you and Imranistan continue to stay helplessly clueless as usual.

I am not even sure what you are blabbering about. You said they were begging and i said he doesnt have to go. So once again why is he going? Who is forcing him to go? Surely he built one hospital that he himself can use! If the answer is no, then you must feel such an idiot!

No its not an NRO.

I have tried to refrain from this thread because there are some mind blowingly stupid posts here.

If the NAB decides that it is ok for the thief to fly to London for treatment then it is out of the government's hands. However, if the thief fails to come back to Pakistan then he is an absconder which means he'll be in even more trouble then he is now.

Let justice take its natural course and for those idiots here, stop your nonsense please.

If IK had the thought processes of some of the posters here, he would have given up on politics 20 years ago.

PM is the ultimate authority, so you can't sell your post, try again. It will be NRO, whether you like it or not, after this deal (if happened) there will be no difference between Nawaz, Zardari and IK when it comes to governance. Also, no time limit has been set for his foreign trip, this also indicates PM IK is about to bulldoze one of his main selling points before election. People like you seem not to care about his vision at all.

I still feel though that PM IK is resisting it. No wonder there is a March in Islamabad? I feel it is to pressurise him into giving Nawaz NRO. I want him to resist it.

The bolded part is not true. Nawaz Sharif needs Imran Khan's permission as Prime Minister to leave the country. And Imran Khan has already given that permission.

If it looks like a NRO feels like a NRO then it is NRO. Imran Khan has taken another uturn, this time the biggest uturn ever in his life, and it will cost him his political career.

If he is not that stupid to understand what he is doing with Nawaz Sharif and somebody is forcing him to do this, then go on national TV and name and shame those guys who are forcing him to commit political suicide.

Are you for or against NS being allowed to leave the country?

Is it really that hard to bring the foreign doctors and medical facilities that he needs to Pakistan now? Why does he need to fly out of the country?

So Nawaz Sharif was supposed to fly out on Monday, but Monday came and went. What happened?

totally against; the law should be same for everybody; he should pay back the looted money and he should also be in jail for his sentence

He is serving a sentence and he is being pressured to return the loot.

But if in Pak the healthcare is not available, the choices are let him die here or allow him to get his treatment. Letting someone die knowing he/she doesn't have the treatment for survial is not the way to go. Imran will forever been seen as a killer, not letting him leave. If NS dies in the UK, nobody can blame IK. He really doesn't have a choice here.

I believe ITP is treatable in Pakistan.

I believe ITP is treatable in Pakistan.

If this is the case, IK needs to come out and say he can be treated here so isn't going anywhere. But perhaps they were advised by the doctors he really need more specialist care in the UK.

I would just prefer him to die outside of Pakistan, better for the country.

It just seems impossible to think that no doctor can diagnose his disease in this country. If it is ITP, then there are many competent doctors in Pakistan who can treat it.

After all if it looks like an idiot, speaks like one then surely it is one.

Permission to go abroad for treatment does not = NRO

Now go do one

Excuse me fort interrupting the straw-clutching of PTI supporters, but let me present the actual events.

This $12 billion deal is a work of fiction and it has been leaked to the paid stooges in the media by the establishment to save Imran’s face.

Imran has nothing to do with Nawaz leaving the country because this “deal” has been conducted by his superiors and PMLN.

Imran’s problem is that he is incredibly delusional and naive. However, the military who have controlled the country for 72 years is much smarter than that.

If Nawaz dies in jail or if he dies in a Pakistani hospital, PMLN workers and supporters will create havoc which would be a disaster for Pakistan as well as for the government. It will pretty much signal the end of Imran’s tenure as PM and it will also do severe damage to PMLN.

By allowing Nawaz to leave the country, it is a win-win situation. He either dies abroad and PMLN will find it difficult to blame PTI for manipulating his treatment, or he recovers and returns to Pakistan after a year or so which is even better.

The military will never put all their eggs in PTI’s basket. They have to ensure that PMLN as well as PPP remain as strong voices and the political cycle continues.

However, the recent complication is that several PTI members are pressurizing Imran to take a stand against the military for allowing Nawaz to leave the country. They (rightly) believe that this would destroy PTI’s accountability drive. Imran doesn’t have the guts to stand up to the military and neither can he offend several PTI members at once.

The second issue is that they have goofed up with the $12 billion figure, which is a ridiculously exaggerated amount. If the amount is true, it would clear our external debt in one sweep and will help us repay IMF loans immediately.

In other words, Pakistan’s economic position would immediately improve drastically the government will no longer have any excuse for the economic problems that the public has had to deal with over the last 12 months. However, we all know that it is not going to happen and the public will keep asking where the $12 billion have gone.

Is it really that hard to bring the foreign doctors and medical facilities that he needs to Pakistan now? Why does he need to fly out of the country?

Isn't it obvious?

He is a thief who's been caught with no way out. His best option is to run away and take care of billions ($) not detected yet. He and his den of thieves are trying their best to salvage what they can.

Simple as that.

Can someone tell me whether Nawaz has given any money for this deal? If so, how much? I guess its all a secret atm.

He can’t and he won’t. This is a cover up story to save face for Imran.

Another problem is that PTI members and media stooges can’t seem to decide on a figure.

It has been years but they keep contradicting themselves over the amount of money that Nawaz has stolen.

One day it is in the billions, the next day it is in millions etc. This is what happens when you make up stuff.

If the judiciary have exposed their corruption then they surely must have revealed a figure on which everyone can agree.

Furthermore, people might have bought this story had they come up with a more humble figure. However, they got carried away and have backed themselves into a corner with the $12 billion figure.

If Nawaz has agreed to pay this much, it will pretty much solve Pakistan’s financial woes in one stroke, which means that the narrative that PTI is cleaning up the mess of PMLN and PPP will have no credibility left, and they will be expected to immediately deliver and ease the sufferings of the poor people.

Now if they claim that they have received the money already, the clock will start ticking and people will demand tangible results in terms of prices, taxes etc.

However, if they claim that they have not received the money yet, people will question the credibility of their fictitious plot and demand a tentative date at which the $12 billion will be delivered into the coffers.

The military establishment and PTI have backed themselves into a corner with this figure and they cannot get out of it without looking like fools.

It is very surprising because neither the military establishment nor PTI are novices at lying. Unfortunately for them, they have goofed up big time.

A lot of head-scratching needs to be done in the GHQ and “Bunny” Gala to come out of the hole they have dug for themselves.

Who is making up stuff, they have properties worth billions, for a start the Mayfair properties are worth £80mn alone. So tell us mental midget- where did they come from? And dont blame the dead old man for these properties?

Looks like Nawaz has been taken off the ECL.

Maybe not just yet.

That's a massive improvement on your part already, i remember the days when you strongly defended Sharifs and even accused Imran Khan of corruption instead.

One thing hasn't changed all these years is 'Imran Khan was wrong when he accused Sharifs of corruption and Imran Khan is still wrong for allegedly letting Sharifs to go to London. And then we call out Imran Khan's U turns

Those who believe Imran Khan will strike a deal or give NRO to Sharifs don't know Imran Khan. He didn't spend 22 years opposing these crooks just to let them off like this. He knows that Nawaz Sharif has/had multiple genuine illnesses and if he dies in Pakistan then our emotional awaam will give Pakistan in a plate to Sharif's next generations (Pakistan goes back many years again). No doubt Sharif family is playing politics on his health (Shahbaz's son posting "Gamechanger" pictures of Shahbaz is clear admission) but Imran Khan can't afford it.

I think government has played really well against the so called 'gamechanger" by asking for security bond, Rs7 Billion is small amount for them but they are refusing to even pay that now so ball is in their court. Pay the bond and leave ASAP, delay it and you are responsible for his health.

So where are all the " inside news" guys who were so sure that a backdoor deal was done and NZ was paying up $2-3 billion to get out of the country . Few weeks ago y'all were out in full force talking about the confidence in IK's body language and what not and how its proof that NS was coughing up a few billions lol .

Lol not $2-3 billion but $12-14 billion. Watch Sabir Shakir and Ch. Ghulam Hussain’s video on ARY. Imran khan knows his followers are most gullible people around and thus can always take u-turns. Remember Murad Saeed’s rants about $200 billion coming to Pakistan the day Niazi takes oath. Niazi took oath in August 2018 and went straight to IMF. Either he took all the $200 billion for himself or he is the biggest hypocrite. I guess no other politician in the world would have ever made such tall claims.

The $200 billion figure was first mentioned by Ishaq Dar. IK did not come out in public with the $12 Billion figure either. Pakistan has a history of going to the IMF beyond Niazi. The only dispicable people in this entire episode are those who are rejoicing in Pakistan's financial plight and the corrupt culprits escaping accountability again.

One can only laugh at the delusion of the folks who believed the $12 billion nonsense.

Imran’s legacy is ruined forever. In fact, it is probably irrelevant now. He will be remembered as someone who made a lot of noise, created a lot of chaos and propagated a lot of hate but ultimately achieved nothing in the long-term.

According to his hardcore loyalists, his ultimate goal was not to become the PM but to put the so-called criminals behind the bars and recover the alleged looted wealth.

They claimed that as PM, he would ensure that justice is served and they Nawaz and Bhutto dynasties are laid to rest.

Unfortunately for them, he has failed to keep his word and has not been able to deliver what he promised. He will be remembered as a leader who made a lot of compromises and took a lot of U-turns to become the PM, but ultimately failed to achieve his objective.

He fought valiantly but he lost. We must be gracious in victory and appreciate the fact that he put up a good fight and threatened to ruin the political futures of PMLN and PPP. It all went south quickly but he did make his mark.

His reckless behavior and shallow personality ultimately led to his failure. He sided with the wrong people and his naivety cost him. Some of his methods were not appropriate and everyone except the followers of his cult could see why.

The best advice for Imran at this stage would be to swallow his pride and not embarrass himself further.

Complete your term quietly and try to do well with whatever authority the establishment has given you. He has zero say on the foreign policy and strategic decisions, but he has some power over certain administrative decisions.

If he can do a decent job on that front the people might vote him in for another term before PMLN and PPP start taking turns again.

Good post. This is what happens when people idolize one person too much. Imran was supposed to be the "savior" of Pakistan according to his staunch supporters but we can all see what's happening now.
