Don't know why as a British and Pakistani (if you have dual citizenship) you are concerned about us Indians. Pakistan will not wipe out entire Indians, but will attack till India surrenders. Just targeting and destroying 10 cities would be enough for that. They will take Kashmir and will have a new govt which will follow their orders and treat us like a colony. We are more useful alive than dead. Anyway India had its golden age when we were ruled by Mughals, and Pakistan is the real inheritor of the Great Mughal lineage, and we will see a post war boom in India.

Because I care about human life. If "Question of nuke is hypothetical" then there would be no point in either country developing and producing them. Both countries have gone to all the trouble of producing them on the basis that they will be a realistic, not hypothetical, threat of being used.

The side that has the smaller economy and smaller defence forces of the two is the one most likely to use them first if they have their backs to the wall and are about to be defeated, on the basis that "If I'm going to die anyway, I'll make sure that I leave you paralysed from the waist down at the very least".

Nukes were developed when economies weren't as big and chances of war were imminent.. Even during Kargil nukes were not used and I am sure the question of using nukes won't arise.. You do realise if even a single nuke hits the amount of devastation it will cause will be in millions and future generations would be ruined.. And the amount of nukes India has and size of Pakistan it will be destroyed, surely no leader in Pakistan would be so insane to be willing to wipe out his entire country/race.. Similarly there is no leader in India would be willing to kill hundred of millions of his countrymen, ruin his entire country for next many generations just to eliminate the neighbouring country?

As much as people might hate Pakistan here the hatred is not deep enough to ruin your own country, family, countrymen, future generation just to wipe them off the map..

The question is purely hypothetical and I would hope and pray it stays hypothetical always..

The reason Kargil happened was because of nukes that Pak developed, without nukes Pak wouldn;t dare India in a full scale war, or even a minor skirmish & we know the rest of the story how they abandoned their soldiers after the loss.

Ofcourse they won't go against India in full scare war because of the size advantage and technological advantage we have over them.. That's why they resort to proxy wars and since they have nukes India doesn't go on an all out war against them.. So yes nukes are a deterrent here but they will and should never be anything more than a deterrent..

Whether Pakistan even tested a cruise missile from french made Sub is itself a question that many asked.

Secondly to fire that missile the Sub has to surface as its not a SLBM.

The hate is mutual from Pak Army and its power base. But Nuclear war or even a full fledged war is far off because obvious reasons.The potential reasons for a possible war are easily avoidable.
