India's new pacers are shockingly poor. Only hope is their latest batch of u19 bowlers.

Either let it fly seam up or dig in if you're going cross seam !!!
 
Unadkat and Thakur, cant swing the bowl cant extract bounce, cant reverse swing the bowl, yet to see a decent yorker.

Moreover, million dollar baby Unadkat bowls high 120s kph
 
Sabbir Rahman was struggling with fitness though conditions are tough as its humid

Seeing this I kinda now realize how much for granted we take our bowling stocks for.......Even Anwar Ali and Imran Khan Jnr (The lefty) somehow look like superior specimen to the lot on display :))
 
The only decent pacer playing from both sides is Mustafizur
 
If shabbir had any brain he would've stayed not out and tried to take the score around 170 by playing sensibly. But then again most of our batters lack common sense.

Look at what out clueless bowler rubel is doing. Looks like our brainless bunch won't even manage to play out the 20 overs either.

Oh absolutely. Anwar has never looked so valuable to me. But after looking at what India has to offer, Anwar looks gold.
 
Unadkat relies too much on slow balls, he doesnt have any plan B which is gonna cost hime big time in cruical matches

Its the heat and humidity which got to him physically as well as mentally
 
Knuckle ball is like Kumbles wrongun. Only the bowler thinks it is deceptive
 
If Rohit wins this tournament as captain with these trundlers , he would've done a greater job than Kohli.
 
All this also puts into perspective the genius of Dhoni and how he literally made some sort of a bowling unit out of the LOI Indian outfit.......Commendable stuff :14:

Seriously. Rohit has done a very good job to be honest. The resources he has at his disposal are depressingly bad.

India needs to look at fast tracking some of the U19 fast bowlers who actually clocked high speeds in U19 world cup. A cricketing nation of India's stature should not play such rubbish players which they are doing in this tournament.

I have genuinely never felt this sad for a captain, how is anyone suppose to captain a team when both spinners need to bowl in the first 6 not as a tactic but just to make sure the opponent does not run away with it in first 6.
 
Tjakur trying knuckle balls against tailender tells you a story. He didn't go for wickets. He doesn't have a Yorker. He can only bowl knuckle balls.

As a batsman you assume his knucklers are his normal deliveries and his "pacy" one is a surprise ball....lol...

Well India can cancel Thakur n Siraj from their future plans. Shankar now needs a good performance with the bat to have any future opportunities.

India got one BIG positive and that is Washington2
 
On the one hand, Pakistan have exciting fast bowlers like Shaheen and Usman coming up the ranks. On the other hand, we got the trio Unadkat/Siraj/Thakur. Wah!

Yes definitely at 26 Unadkat and Thakur should have been at their peak.

Especially Unadkat, I saw him making his test debut in SA few years ago, he hasn’t improved a single bit which is really concerning.
 
Are they playing that Nazmul guy just for his copyright of the Nagin dance? Didn't even bowl last match and comes in at 11 to bat.

Definitely not their top pick. But, him being in the team shows that he is regarded highly so concerning in a sense that he hasnt improved at all in these years at academies and stuff considering he was considered good enough to play test cricket and is now playing again for national team
