India and Bangladesh are set to clash in the fourth Super Fours fixture of the Asia Cup 2025 on Wednesday, September 24, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Both teams opened their Super Four campaigns with victories, with India currently leading the points table.

India’s dominant six-wicket win over Pakistan, powered by a fiery knock from Abhishek Sharma, marked their second triumph over their arch-rivals in this tournament. Under Suryakumar Yadav’s captaincy, the Men in Blue have won all four of their matches so far and will be aiming for another win to seal their spot in the final.

Bangladesh, too, began their Super Four journey on a high, defeating Sri Lanka. With momentum on their side, the Bangla Tigers will be eager to overcome India and strengthen their bid for a place in the final—scheduled to take place at the same venue in less than a week.

As an indian fan, am not at all happy or convinced with Sunday win over Pak. Theres a lot of things that went wrong, lots of fixes needed.
- Fielding, the obvious one -hope in the two days in between - they practiced better and give a better show. Is it the ring of fire combined with the twilight effect that is a factor?

- Jassi somehow is not hitting the lengths, he's either too full or too short.
- Kulldeep in last match was not bowling slow,he was darting into the batsmen into their arc
- Not sold on how Sanju batted
- Sky is due a big one
-Need Akshar to bowl more

Overall, they let intensity drop, were lack lustre for the first 10 ov and last 2-3 ov. Was it the fatigue factor becoz of playing a match in high temperatures just the day before?

My XI for today

Sanju
Abhi
Sky
Tilak
Hardik
Rinku
Akshar
Arshdeep/Harshit
Jassi
Kulli
Varun

Bangladesh bowling attacks >> Pakistan bowling attacks . Expecting this match to lot closer than one side victory for India over Pakistan :kp
True. That has been the case for a while . BD fast bowlers bullied this "Next gen" Pakistani batsmen in BD. Also in Tests. Pakistani fast bowing has gone to worst. RIght now they rely on mystery spinners, uncle spinners

I'm surprised Arshdeep doesn't play more. I don't think Gambhir rates him

Although BD has produced a lot of dislikable players, Fiz, Taskin, Litton are fine guys.
Nha they are not likeable at all. Their cricketing team is very detestable

I hate most teams but in terms of ranking

I hate
1) England the most. Pompous overrated trash.
2) nz - fake nice guys
3) probably Pakistan and then bdesh as well tied
4) lankans

Rest are fine. sa is borderline but they are ok.

So guys which player is threat for us in today match? Tell me so I can chose him my fanatsy captain.

I have 100% record of my captain failure whoever I chose.

:klopp :kp

Meaningless cup lmao

Who cares. Just testing for the real world cup

India has won this what ? 7 8 times

Lanka 6

Pakistanis wait for it. Grand total of 2 lmaoooooo

Even with their so called goat team of 90s hahahaha

@sweep_shot

Still got their clocks cleaned in 90s by India. What a shame

That ‘pointless’ stat includes winning the T20 World Cup final with a match-winning performance from Dube, that something your poster boys can only dream of in their lifetime.

In 2025 he has the best avge difference between Batting average /bowling average by some distance indication of his usefulness in both departments. Also SR of 158.

After beating Sri Lanka, Bangladesh supporters were on high, when asked about Bangladesh will beat India? All were saying yes, as per them Banglades is invincible and they can beat any strong team 😆

As an Indian fan I want India to lose so

1. Bangladesh fans can puff themselves up to get a totally unrealistic and foolish sense of their competence for the next decade

2. Pakistan fans can go into a frenzy, all the while feeling a secret sense of relief

3. Indian fans can indulge in performative r rona, while bashing Gautam effing Gambhir.

4. Numbers such as 6-0, 13-0, and…. 69 get throne about like confetti.

Man I just want to see the world burn, white ball cricket is mostly too boring.

INdia has been in a lose-lose situation through the entire Asia cup. If they win it is not a surprise. If they lose "how can you lose to these teams". They don't really gain anything out of it. In T20 you cannot keep on winning. Not many teams have done it since T20 was created. Also this is not exactly an experienced unit from India as people think. They have played only 15 or 20 matches together. Still the expectation is very lofty.

Thems the breaks of being #1 which we are. And when SKY rubs it in like that, it’s natural that everyone else perceives it as arrogance and is waiting for you to fall.

Winning a world tournament is notable no doubt. Winning 10 games or 15 games in a row means nothing

Before the match they act all high and mighty :D
But after the match they end up beat themselves and crying. :ROFLMAO:

Frustrated Bangladesh Fan Beats Himself Up With Shoe After Disappointing Loss To Netherlands

Bangladesh have won the toss and have opted to field

India (Playing XI): Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav(c), Tilak Varma, Sanju Samson(w), Shivam Dube, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakaravarthy

BD chasing is good for both the teams. India will have to play really well to win batting first on these surfaces and BD will have a real chance of winning this game. There is lots of moisture and movement on the pitch. It will be difficult to bat for first few overs

Bangladesh is winning this. For some reason I find Bangladesh more competitive against india than Current Pakistan team. Also with this kind of a support it looks home game for Bangladesh and away game for india.

What the hell?

Bangladesh just dropped their entire bowling attack

They have back to back games. It seems like they are giving bench players a game and resting main players for tomorrow's game.

Remember that they don't have to win both games for final's qualification. If they beat Pakistan, they are through.

Bangladesh are playing their C team here whereas India is playing their main team and not giving workload management to Bumrah.

it's clear this is a big game for India.

BD are playing C team because BCCICC did them dirty. They scheduled back to back games for BD. 2 games in 2 days.

Also, they technically do not have to win this game. If they win against Pakistan, they are through. If Pakistan win, Pakistan are through. BD-PAK is a knockout game pretty much.
