India (297/6) defeat Bangladesh (164/7) by a big margin of 133 runs to complete the whitewash in theT20I series by 3-0

Tamim chill stop over the top pleasing Mahmdullah. He was passenger in this series and in the t20s for while last many years, he played decent knocks once a long while. His best was nidhas trophy. BD wont miss him his old now and thats life, cricketers have to retire. He aint the same as Nidahas trophys mahmudllah

yea i was like? when did mamdullah ever perform

I am counting the entire india trip as a whole. No one expected bangladesh to win. But we still expected competitive play. Apart from the first session of first test it has been a horrid display of cricket.
Bangladesh played as well as they could. But India was too good. They disposed of bazballers 4-1. What chance Bangladesh got. THey should still be happy with their returns in Pakistan

Watched for an hour or so. Hard not to see this and feel confident in India's T20 future. Shepherded by the likes of Bumrah and Kuldeep(who only need to drop in for the big games), this bunch of kids should be disappointed if they don't get us another T20 WC trophy or two. The ability, hunger and intent are all there.

Bangladesh has quite a decent bowling line up for the future and should easily rise up in the rankings with Pakistan fading, Sri lanka being iffy , west indies in usual doldrums and South africa being in permanent transition to incorporate their racial integration.

Bowling is still patchy sometimes.

We are not winning not because of lack of talent. But because of the lack of combination. INdia's struggles were mostly due to their structure of the side. Often times lack of depth stifled true potential of Indians. With Gauti at the helm he will go overdrive to create a pool of multi skilled players like he did with KKR.

Any BD fans here? Tell me what Mehedi or Miraz offer that Mossadekk cant offer in t20s? Mossadekk adds better batting depth, bowls crafty offies, can easily give 4overs. Sabbir at 6 doing the finishing role. Soumya open with Das. U have 4th seam option with Soumya plus if he clicks he can be dangerous. Add balance to the XI. BD has no better options.

We are winning. We just won a T20 world cup undefeated. These guys have to build on that legacy.

I am looking at the bat swing of Bangladesh. It doesn't have that golf swing that is required to hit sixes. Ashwin even at this age managed to make adjustments to his bat swing, follow through to hit more sixes. Why can't these guys practice with the help of overseas trainers.

Nice gesture from SKY

Mahmudullah's T20I career has come to an end

141 T20Is
2,444 Runs

Talking about all the formats. India cannot go with one-dimensional team anymore
problem is pace bowling AR for sena
we have nitish who is too raw.
venky iyer doesnt play tests

pandya cant play tests.

thats something we need to find. a pace bowling AR.

This BD t20 is filled with 2000s style ODI Players
Bangaldesh has been plagued by too much politics in its structure else now is the golden chance to have firmly established them as the 2nd best team in Asia atleast. But they seemed to have missed the timing with some revival in sri lanka.

If i remember right in a t ricky chase in the world T20 two hid exploded against Hasaranga hitting him for 3 or 4 sixes to seal the deal

True. Maybe this is a revolution...maybe not. I'm still old-fashioned enough to want the likes of Gill playing over the Abhisheks of the world. I like the mix of solid 130-150 strike rate guys playing with 170-190 risk takers. Gives me comfort we can win on all sorts of pitches - even the ones we saw in the States

141.3
144.3
145
speed not shown for 2 balls useless indian broadcast.

109 slow ball last ball

btw mayank has started eating meat to prevent injuries according to his physio

nitish was bowling much quicker before
today he has been a proper trundler. 112 pace lmao

morkel and gambo duo should help us with producing back up pacers. thats what i care about. we do need a pace AR though for tests.

Can't rate any BD batter in this format.

But I suspect this is the end of the line for Mahmudullah across all formats. Or at least it should be.

Anchored BD to a defendable total in the 2015 World Cup match against England and was one of the few bright spots for BD in 2023 CWC

Decent career

Bangladesh should have done better when Mahmadullah, Shakib Tamim Mushfiq etc were at their peak.

They were all decent players but the team just went nowhere in LOIs

Mickey Mouse series (T20 series) is over finally.

BD can now focus on real cricket (upcoming home Test series against South Africa).

Test series between these two sides should contest for "Ashraful-Tendulkar" trophy.

ODI series between these two sides should contest for "Shakib-Kohli" trophy.

Exactly.

Australia have achieved far more in cricket. They are also quite humble.

If India win a World Cup, they act all haughty. If Aussies win a World Cup, they barely celebrate.

Thats because cricket is not the main sport in Australia.

But it is the primary sport for India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

So naturally reactions over winning are quite different.

If Pakistan wins a football match, the celebrations would be different to winning a World Cup in cricket.

India complete clean sweep with momentous victory

India win by an astonishing 133 runs to seal a famous victory in Hyderabad as fireworks go off on the stadium roof.

We had plenty of those in the first innings, but Bangladesh simply were unable to come to the party with the intense scoreboard pressure at hand.

Towdid finishes with an unbeaten 63 off 42, while Bishnoi was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3 for 30.

🍇 are sour. If you don't care T20 ,you should omit it completely. No need to bring 133 runs humiliating defeat to your nation.

If I had the authority, I would've banned T20 and declared all T20 results invalid.

Only the Test series mattered in this tour and BD disappontingly did poorly. I hope they will bounce back.

Mahmudullah may have just played his final international innings. He is already retired from Test and T20. I don't think he will be selected for ODI.

All the best to him.

I think the T20 series between India and BD should contest for "Mayanti Langer-Prova" trophy.

Test series between these two sides should contest for "Ashraful-Tendulkar" trophy.

ODI series between these two sides should contest for "Shakib-Kohli" trophy.
I don’t know who (or what) is Prova but there was absolutely no need for bringing in someone like Mayanti Langar into this discussion.

This is one of many of your posts that proves once again your deeply disturbing fundamentalist razakkar attitude sitting in the comfort of western country.

Keep spewing such poor quality posts (in between copy pasting of scorecard from Cricbuzz) to expose yourself further.

Yes two cheaters one reformed fixer and one unrepentant ball tamperer and cheater...good idea bro I like it

Some posters are very active on T20 match threads despite them not caring about T20s at all. Mate, there must be some first class match going on somewhere in the world, you can satisfy your sports watching cravings there.

Actually, I have recently found out Test series between these two sides is called "Ganguly-Durjoy" trophy.

I am not joking. This is the actual name of the trophy.

At this point you should give up on sport of any description, leave alone give names of trophies.

I have retired from cricket. Used to play domestic cricket in Canada.

I now enjoy Australia beating India in ICC events.

Take a chill pill.

I named a trophy after Mayanti Langer and Prova. What's wrong with it? Are you a sexist who believes a trophy shouldn't be named after a woman? Shame on you.

Now go watch IPL highlights.

5-0 across two extreme formats..across different conditions.

Not a single game being competitive.

We should stop inviting these talentless minnows from now on. After Mushy, Shakib and Mahmudullah are gone, they will fall down to even lower levels. Nepal could be a better alternative if we want to test out our fringe players.

The fact you wanted to look that up when no Indian cares about what it's called speaks volumes bro.

Especially since you're a "cricket fan" first

What else can you do ? Both Canada and Ban are hopeless an useless cricket teams. So totally understand you supporting Aus, or else you never will be able to cheer for and celebrate victories lol !:ROFLMAO:

It was a response to DeadlyVenom's post.

I look up many things. I even look up how Vanuatu cricket team is doing. I am indeed a cricket fan first.

I protest . We want the trophy to be named Haseena-Modi trophy and am willing to yield here, am OK with Haseena-Gandhi trophy as well :ROFLMAO:

You are not making sense here. How am I seeing from a nationalist lens? LOL.

When it comes to cricket, my primary objective is to watch and be entertained by good cricket. If my nation does well, that's an added bonus.

Let me spell it out for you in case you are misinformed, nationalism is a sociological philosophical concept of nation states.

Indians have nationalism because that is how 140cr humans have decided to group and organize ourselves under one constitution. We are a complex collection of fairly heterogeneous people working really hard to work together and grow as a group.

And as per your rhetoric of you being some objective cricket fan who enjoys cricket as game and ignores the color of jersey being worn.

you are , sorry to say, but it so plain, part of the Bangladeshi people who have an anti India bias even though, India has always been the closest ally Bangladesh ever had.

But your bias is so strong that it deludes into thinking that you are some true fan.

You are still on my ignore list along with around 35 other Indian posters.

However, I sometimes click on "show ignored contents" if I am bored.
That's the spirit of an insecure mind.

Don't forget to check our mentions every now and then. Don't be shy to hide behind ignored list when the heat is too much for you to handle,

I am not sure what your point is.

These losses will hurt ban a long time . The next ban sa test series becomes very crucial . If SA win it- they have a great chance of getting to the WTC final..
