If this were an IPL match, I might have agreed with you. But this is international cricket, and Bangladesh managed to stop India short of 300. That's a moral victory in itself. India might not get another shot at 300 until Bangladesh visits again. :inti

After that, CT and WTC.

After that, World T20.

After that, Test bilaterals.

After that, ODI bilaterals.

T20 bilaterals don't matter. Franchise cricket doesn't matter.

the clean hitters in BD are not in the side. Soumya and Sabbir. Mossadekk is a better hitter and bowler than this Mehedi playing today. I know someone here hates them and brought out stats in the previous match thread but the fact is Sabbir and Soumya are actually bd’s still some of most cleanest hitters.

one of bs wtc finals dont mean squat when you lose a full fledged series

Varun will go for lot of runs on batting pitches.he needs a little bit of help from the pitch to make him very good.Thats where he faltered in 21 t20 wc.we should go for washi,bishnoi ,Kuldeep

Finally, we are picking our T20 side based on actual IPL performance and future potential. We did manage to win the last T20 WC, but it was criminal to leave out Rinku Singh, Jaiswal and include that Farzi Dube in that side. Now the team looks unbeatable.

ODI World Cup is always the most prestigious event. A team's greatness is determined by how many times they have won that trophy (Aussies won it 6 times).

That is the same for most spinners. But he can be a game breaker. I have no issue with his bowling. What i don't like about him is his other areas. Terrible fielder, terrible batsman. So an one-dimensional player.

so we technically won ? 4 - 1 at home and 2 - 2 away in england
with SA before last drawn series, we won 3 0 at home and lost 2- 1

drawing away is fine.

Exactly.

Australia have achieved far more in cricket. They are also quite humble.

If India win a World Cup, they act all haughty. If Aussies win a World Cup, they barely celebrate.
 
Litton is a better hitter than other Bangladeshis is because he has a stable base. It allows him to swing through the line without losing balance.

Issue is we need keeper in middle order.samson can't be the opener as Gill and Jaiswal are there .we have a vacant middle order spot but not in opening

That was in Test. This is t20 which they suck extremely. Seem worse, They lost to part timers Hongkong 2014 WC at home. No reality check here, never been a good t20 side. Reality check in test? Not really India superior side, expected to win but the 2nd test batting by bd was pure disgraceful though

I am counting the entire india trip as a whole. No one expected bangladesh to win. But we still expected competitive play. Apart from the first session of first test it has been a horrid display of cricket.
