lol short man doesnt mean the man cant be strong.
and all those guys you mentioned are strong.
jayasuriya would ko most cricketers with one punch. he is a tank.

just cause someone has layers of fat doesnt mean they dont have power or strength. lot of fat guys can be super strong.
 
Bangladesh should be given a chance to treat this as an ODI and chase in 50 overs. We already won the series and Bharat is known for hospitality.

Question is, can they do it even in 50 overs?

even if a batsman is flatlined i expect no bowler to go up and check on them. otherwise you will lose that competitive edge.
steyn never checked up on a player either. a video was made about how fiery steyn is when he in his zone.

every bowler should follow the same principle.

Cricket is just a game. If a player is down, players should check (including the bowler).

but mayank is bowling much slower. looks like he is focusing on accuracy. good. maybe eyeing a test cap. i see his name was reserved along with harshit and potentially keverappa and prasidh too
 
Serious gas from Mayank. One has to understand release speed doesn't quiet tell you the story about how the batsmen perceive. Tamim mentioned in the commentary during Test match that 135k from Cummins looked quicker than 145k from Starc. Mayank is one of those guys. Ball comes at you quicker.

i disagree with this. i expect the same from other team bowlers too. not just speaking from an indian point of view
when you are on the field playing for your country, its a war. off the field sure everyone can be buddies

It makes me laugh when people equate cricketers to soldiers. Soldiers put their lives on the line. Cricketers play with a ball.
 
Can they get 200+ and get some confidence going into the next T20 series whenever it is. At least they can feel better of scoring 200+ against India away. Something to take forward.

that would be bumrah not cummins
bumrah 140 would be like 147 from starc or hazlewood.

bumrah bowling same speeds as cummo will feel 3 to 5 ks quicker.

Tamim actually talked form the personal experience while comparing Starc and CUmmins. Ofcourse Bumrah is always going to quicker as his release point is further.

India has 2 allround seamers and 2-3 all round spinners, only 3 full timers. So best bet to get to 200 at least. Also add flat pitch and dew.

not my words. dale steyn the modern goat bowler said this. otherwise you will go soft and easy on the players after bowling a bouncer. so i am totally concur with steyn's statement.
 
Weak shot to get out. Couldnt grab the chance he had. Technically BD batsmen are so weak and miserable thats the main issue where they struggle to score quickly.

he gets good bounce. tall lad 6.2 6.3
can bat like a monster in tests

When Bangladeshi batsmen try to hit sixes the don't look fluid with their striking. OFten they end up indluging in ugly hoicks. Lack of six hitting skill is obvious.

Yes. That was real cricket obviously.

I was saddened about that loss since it was a Test match.

T20 losses don't mean anything to me as I don't take this format seriously.

They never look to well in clear position to hit big ones, it ends up looking a mess in the end. I blame the technique which you dont need a lot of in t20s but you need the right stance to hit the right balls in the right way as possible especially if you have limited big hitting ability
 
the way Bangladesh are going they might make sweep shot a fan by the end of the match
 
I told you. Litton Das is the only one who can come somewhat close to striking power of big teams. You just saw that.

Shanto gets out again reverse sweeping. He is too stubborn, he wont change the fact its not a shot he plays well but to justify himself that he can play it, he tried it again. Idk why this guy is even in the t20 side, clearly he throws the towel too easily
