I agree with you on Chahal, last match it seems he got two of three wickets when bat'smen were going for big shots, not really beating the batsmen with his guile.

I am yet to see it change. It also helps that management drops players after 2 games so players are always worried about their spot.
 
There should be no excuse now when India comes on to bat. Apart from Rohit India is playing their full strength batting. Aus was also missing Warner's services. This is one of the worst Aussie bowling attack I have seen. :inti

Bhuvi (don't forget Bhuvi. He is a phenomenal T20 bowler. Good support odi bowler and a quality test bowler).

And then natrajan for me.

In that order. Quality outside best 3 is definitely weaker. But that's the same for all top teams.
Australia without Starc and Cummins is weaker.
Pakistan without Shaheen is weaker.
England without Archer is mediocre tbh.

As I said earlier this is a silly excuse because both Bumrah and Shami are in the squad. They are available to play. If they can play 2 months of useless IPL then surely they can play 3 T20's for India? If there was no IPL then these players would have never dared to miss even a practice game let alone an international match. It's pretty clear IPL money has made them 'nikamma' and 'ehsan framosh' that they can even think of taking rest in an important series like this. :inti

Now suddenly Jaddu has become an integral part of this team? Lol at Pant. He is a joke in T20's. India is only missing Rohit whereas Aus were missing Finch and Warner in this match. :inti

India are missing Jadeja Rohit and pant.
Pant is good in T20 whether you like it or not. I hate pant but I still think he is better than.....actually forget about it

I would say we are missing Kishan and suryakmuar Yadav. Both quality and better than the players who got picked for today.
 
KL Rahul 7(8) in the powerplay so far, 6th gear on full view. What’s the point of accelerating at the end of the innings if you’re just making up for the beginning of the innings?

Note** before Indians get offended i still rate KL Rahul as the number 1 batsman in T20 cricket right now.

Jadeja has only 200 runs in t20is with strike rate of 112 and he averages 15. ROFL him being missed.he is not even a batsman
 
I agree, he starts way too slow ! Even Rohit, Kohli and Iyer do the same. India needs a batsman who can start aggressively from ball 1.

“FTB” Sharma is a better ODI/T20 batsman than anyone in our history.

Calling him a FTB is an outdated opinion. It is not 2015 anymore.

We have no chance at the world T20 next year. It'll either be England (most likely) or Australia. West Indies as usual will be the dark horses.

You can't expect this accumulators filled lineup to go beyond semis (as usual).
 
Zampa reminds me of a typical u13 leg spinner at most cricket clubs here. He can bowl some excellent lines but is bound to bowl 1-2 half trackers an over because of trying too hard!

Anything under semis would be an insult to India and Australia seriously I don’t think so they are very overrated they are quite pathetic in t20s they will lose this one very easily these accumaltors will turn into beligerent hitters in the overs to come
 
This swepson bloke looks very impressive. He is just taking those extra few milliseconds in his delivery stride to checkout what the batsmen are attempting

They may get away at the death against this joke of an attack but against decent attacks, don't think so. And no Australia aren't overrated.

If Aus lose this match then apart from I dias good batting, the decision of bowling Maxwell should be questioned especially after one over bowled by opening bowler.

India will be hot favourites. India just needs to workout the right combination.

India England and Australia and either Pak or saffers should be semis comfortably. From there it's anyone's game.

Swepson looks quality. Seems to have changed his action a bit since I saw him bowl last 3 years back in BBL.

Captaincy has been pretty awful from Wade though.
Sams was swinging it earlier on yet bowled only 1 over then was brought back when Swepson and Zampa were bowling pretty well.

Joel Paris, Behrendorff, Coulter Nile, Jhye Richardon, Kane Richardson, Billy Stanlake are probably all better than this bowling attack. Don't know the logic behind Australian selectors here.
