They are making the difference! It is very difficult to find two young quality of that breed in the same side! This could make a lot of difference in our LOI results! Unfortunately this is complemented with a really terrible middle order lineup who may mess up chasing 250+ runs which is beyond below par today!
 
Good wiicket to get and at a very delicate time when Saffers were building their innings.
 
India's spinners are replicating what Pakistan's would do during the 2011-2013 period: Running through teams in the middle overs. Good on India for discarding the useless Ashwin and Jadeja after the hammering they got in the CT final.
 
Kuldeep is a great talent but I really rate Chahal. He is special. He is Mishra without the tendency to lose it when he gets attacked.

That is the biggest plus we got from CT Final humiliation!
 
Jadhav and Pandya are was ting 2 spots in this lineup. Pandya's bowling is not good enough and his batting is very inconsistent. Jadhav is bad at pretty much everything and is not a top six batsman. We should just play a proper batsman and a proper bowler instead and get rid of this allrounder nonsense.

Got to feel sorry for ashwin. Not many players who achieve such greatness but fall off the cliff as quickly as him. Good player regardless. Hope he makes a comeback:ashwin:afridi

If spinners bowl well then it is Spinner's pitch? Then Rohit will also have excuses of batting pitches (If he doesn't score then it is bowler's pitch!)

No!!! Balls keeps getting low, turning which should not be in fast bowling pitch unless Murali is bowling

Chahal and Kuli can spin even on glass - high quality wrist spinners. Look at Jadhav, useless offie.

Wrist spinners will extract some spin on any surface if the ball holds for a bit.
 
This is not a 300+ wicket for sure. I actually think 260 might be enough here.
 
Chahal and Kuldeep are gun bowlers!!! They vary their pace so beautifully. I wish Shadab learns to flight the ball and bowl at around 75-80kph in ODIs.
 
this SA team just does not have the firepower of klusener, pollock, kemp ,morkel, boje etc. I do not see this team going past the quarterfinals in the world cup. They are too much dependant on AB and QDK to get big scores. Plus they have struggled in England as well

Morris is a hitter of the highest order. Watch his IPL innings. There are no QFs in 2019 World Cup.
 
Chris Morris' batting technique is better than all of the current Pakistani batsmen playing internationally or in the domestics. Says a lot. :P
 
BK is a trash odi bowler.cant be in the team just for death bowling.his economy and average is substandard plus the guy opens bowling for india.

Not even close to being a test great. India has had some great spinners so I am actually surprised you guys have fallen for his shtick. He's a HTB of the highest order and his fantastic average of 50+ and SR of 100+ in Australia, South Africa and England should be enough to showcase his "greatness".
 
Faf has batted superbly today. India need wickets or else Faf and Morris will run away with the game.

Post 2015 is when the inflation really began. Before that, it was only ABD, Amla and to a lesser extent Kohli who were doing the carnage.

Hitman is the worst nickname I've ever heard for a cricketer. Who is Jinks? Rahane?
 
One of Faf's best performance alongside the 106 vs Starc in Harare and 80 odd vs NZ in WC semifinal.

Haven't seen him bat as fluent from a long time as he was today.
 
Disappointing performance from SA top6 except Faf. Should have easily put 275-280 runs on this pitch.
 
Even with Faf's effort this is such a sub-par score
 
10 bucks India will chase this score in 45 overs with 5/6 down
 
How good of a batsman is Kedar Jadhav? India seem to be a specialist batsman short.
 
Is it me or have the 20-run overs at the death become very very scare these days. There was a time where a team would be able to strike atleast one over for 20 or more at the death to really give a bump to their final score.

Faf is such a good batsman... he can hold the fort when required or go hell to leather if the situation demands. Not many batsmen in the world are this dynamic. Think he has under-achieved quite a bit in his career, he is never considered amongst the top bats in world cricket.

Not in my prime as a poster anymore either. [MENTION=138254]Syed1[/MENTION] and [MENTION=139595]Ab Fan[/MENTION] are still going strong though and [MENTION=131701]Mamoon[/MENTION] looks set to break his idol's records even if no batsman wants to.

Yeah, he's world class in all three formats nowadays. However, he only became an established player four years ago and is older than AB de Villiers.
