Australia 28/1. Maxwell is batting like a proper hack. Could have been bowled twice. Who knows it might be his day.

This match is also important from IPL mega auction point of view, time to impress the franchises.

Maxwell vs Chahal. There is only one winner these days. Chahal completely neutralized him in the one dayers. Now in T20.

Travis Head is not bad, him and Finch will need a big partnership here.

Aaron Finch OUT bowled Kuldeep Yadav, scored 42 from 30 balls

Moises Henriques Out, Kuldeep gets second wicket, AUS 87/4 in 12.2 overs

Kuldeep showing how it's done, Aus bamboozled, not for the first time!

Poor fielding from Bhuvi. Should have taken that. Kohli doesn't look happy.

Deer caught in the headlights . That is what comes to my mind watching Aussies bat against chahal and kuldeep.

Good shot from Paine. Australia will feel more comfortable versus pace, although getting Bhuvi and Bumrah away will be a difficult task.

Just tuning in, saw the wickets highlights package was difficult to make out who was the spinner and who was the pacer :))

The Buveh nesh Kumar is a pretty decent bowler for someone who is meant to get spanked senseless , he's always very accurate

Bumrah is taking Australian lower order apart here. Need some big hits from Christian here.

Another Yorker and Another Bowled from Bumrah

Coulter-Nile, OUT

Rain stopping, Inspection to be conducted at 22:05 local time.

Very impressive bowling, run up, release from what i have seen so far. Bright prospect for Australia.

IND 42/1 (5.0 Overs)

India need 6 runs in 6 balls (Match reduced to 6 overs due to rain - DLS)

Tall left arm pacer looks dangerous Australia has good fast bowlers but their batting is losing them matches

This kind of DSLed T/20s are really a joke !!!! If they really want to make the Match interesting, they should, along with Overs and Runs, reduce the numbers of wickets for the chasing sides !!!!! Since with 10 wickets to go and only 6 overs to play, as in this Match, the chasers can absolutely throw their bats around and score the runs !!!!! What if the Indians had to score the runs with only 2 or 3 wickets ????? Hmmmmm ...... ????????

Boss rules are there for a reason. U have to look into spectator perspective as well.

Do u want match to be just cancelled instead of any kind of match.

Cricket game is with eleven players and eleven players at all times irrespective of duration

So let me understand this ..... you are saying that Runs and Overs can be reduced .... but not the Wickets !!!!!
How will the " Spectator Perspective " will get damaged if the Wickets are reduced ???????? Hmmmm ....... extremely sound logic, I guess !!!!!!!!

So you’re saying that except 3-4 batsmen rest are pretty much of no use? Why not also force the fielding team to play with just 5 fielders only?

Your suggestion sounds impractical as it literally rules out half the team for taking any further part in it. With over reduction and adjusted target, both teams are getting fair situation to compete, but what you’re suggesting will favour the bowling team heavily.

The DLS clearly takes that into account, FYI Aus barely scored at 6 per over & lost 8 wickets, had 6 overs of PP & India still had 2 of their best bowlers left with 8 or 10 balls to bowl at the tail.

India chased at 8 per over & had just 2 overs of PP, no time to settle in, possible collapse in the middle would have lost India the game very easily. If DLS is to be blamed then it can be blamed only for not taking into account the effect of rain, Aus were never going to defend this under normal circumstances!

How can you have a match with 6 overs even if it a T20?!

Hehe, of course we are, but really, a match that allows so few overs should be nulled. Not just that it's a few overs, far too much of an advantge to the chasing team whatever the target.

I hardly think India had any advantage. They scored 48 in 5.4 overs. Australia scored 118 in 18.4 overs. To get to where Australia was, India would have needed 70 more runs in 13 overs, a RRR of 5.35. Given that India had 9 wkts left, it would be quite simple.

Apparently India at this point has beaten Australia 9 consecutive times in T20s. I don't think Australia has such a losing streak in any format to any other country.

Yep, Aus has been totally schooled by India.

Having to score 48 in 6 overs gave a huge advantage to Australia. Otherwise, chasing 118 is no big deal.
