India and Pakistan show their true aukat when not playing each other

Pakistan may be kittens when up against India who are tigers waiting to pounce, but just look at the results when they play the other sides.

It's about time we stop considering the mandatory Indo-Pak fixture as any indicator of things to come in the rest of any given tournament.

India just had a poor day whereas Pakistan genuinely are a crappy side with mediocre players.

Pakistan isn't ranked 8th just by losing to India once in a blue moon, they hardly play each other. Against other teams pressure on Pakistan is less and they perform bit better and win few games. Especially Pakistan has been winning against South Africa for some odd reason, 4-1 in last 5 games. Only south asian team to win ODI series in SA. So I wouldn't look to much in to Pak winning against SA either.

Pakistan has a stronger line up than India.. People who think Pakistan are push overs it's just not true..

Indian coaching staff and management need to reevaluate their strategy and players need to understand how to place their innings better.. In era of flat tracks, big bats short boundaries 320 is not a match winning total anymore.. Yes 7 out of 10 times you will win with 320 but there is a 30% risk of losing the match..

I don't mind our openers taking a bit of time to settle but India is leaving too late to accelerate in just last 10 overs.. In middle overs our players need to take calculated risks to increase the scoring rate.. In both the matches we were 20-30 runs short of what we should have scored..

Our bowling also is fine but we should have played Ashwin today in place of maybe Jadhav or Pandya, Sri Lanka has a lot of left handlers and Ashwin would have come in handy.. But that is all in retrospect..

Yuvi played a gem against Pakistan and Dhoni did okayish today but these sort of performances from these two
Players are coming in once in quite a few innings.. After CT we should consider youngsters and slowly groom
Them for 2019 WC..

Poor cricket from India as a whole if we can't win against Sri Lanka we should just quit cricket and stick to being engineers, doctors or other white collared jobs..
