It's that season again, a big ICC tournament. And Indian players have upped their game as usual.

They are bowling every bit the powerhouse we hype ourselves to be. And their batting is on point as usual.

So, it's business as usual. I fully expect them to defend their title. And if they still feel any rusty, they can trust us to ease their nerves on 4th and give a start they need.

Too much India hype. I don't see why India can't lose to SA, England, Australia on a bad day. There can't be an outright winner in such tournaments.

Depends. If India encounters England on a flattish pitch with no cloud cover, India may struggle.

India looks like an outstanding unit right now. Definitely looks like the team to beat

Nope. It will be either England or Australia.

India got away by bowling short today. Those balls will get hammered for boundaries by Australian and English batsmen.

They shouldn't have won it last time bar a massive choke by England.

Just like the last T20 World Cup, India will be beaten by a so called smaller team in the semis.

A major tournament in England with rains always around...one tight over can change the game especially if it is curtailed - case in point the 2013 CT final.

So relax. India is yet to meet the current world champions and the CT hosts not to forget SA who are good in these conditions. Plenty of time to go and cricket is a funny game.

They were saying the same thing before the last major world tournament, 2016 T20 WC, that India's victory is all but confirmed. As we saw things panned out a little differently.

India is good team but England, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand can all beat them on their day.

Funny people have already stared jinxing us. :)))

Relax, we ain't winning this one, Bangladesh is no metric to judge our strength. Moreover, many a times I have seen superstrong Indian side lose to supposedly lesser team (T20 2014 final, T20 2016 semi). I will be really surprised if we defend our title.

If practice matches are the barometer, then Dinesh Karthick is better than Viv Richards.

Indian bowling is doing well and that's about it. Batting is too shaky and it will be exposed by Amir, Hasan and Imad.

Too much English hype. India will destroy England in this tournament if they face each other. They could have issues against Australia and maybe against Southern Afrikaan.

Funny.

When India win, its a coincidence. When India lose, you don't count they were odds on favorites to beat Sri Lanka and West Indies in previous two T20 world cups.

England and India are being hyped way too much on PP. ODI tournament and no one is hyping OZ that much. Wonder why?

The most complete bowling attack. All bases covered.

Their slight weakness is the middle order of oldies Yuvraj / Dhoni. A collapse is always on the cards.

I was there at the ground in an England shirt. I looked around all your brethren were upset while the partnership between Morgan and Bopara (i think) was on going. Even the bloke with the funny teapot orange hat took it off. I actually said its not over but none believed me and stuffed their faces with vegetable samosas. i decided to leave due to more showers but England chocked in the final , there is no doubt.

Yes India were very strong favourites against WI, just goes to show it was a big underestimation.

India's just been dominant in past 10-15 years at ICC tourneys,. They won some they shouldn't have and lost some they should have won. Pakistan should have beaten India twice in 2007, you lost both because your players are just intimidated against India on big occasions. That's just how things happen in big matches. They probably eat chicken samosas but whats the point when they lose and cry in the shower every time?

I wouldn't use the word dominant. India won the 2007 T20 because Misbah had a brain lapse. Won the 2011 world cup again because of Misbah and it was home soil. Did nothing in any ICC tourney outside of Asia apart the previous CT in England. India have had a lot of luck from the opposition and that's how it goes in sport but hardly a dominant side as the Windies or Aussies were. The only trophies India is certain to win is the veggie samosa eating and the IPL, Let's see if you;re right and India defend their CT crown against very good opposition this time round.
