2030 target is to get merchandise exports over 1 trillion dollar. I don't that will be possible in this global economy. I feel services has better chance than merchandise exports. India is trying to grow when the whole world is anti globalization. So it is not going to be easyThe exports should cross over a trillion and a half in the future once the apple factory is in full flow...
They raised 40 million.Bharatiya startup’s raise $1B for fun.
No dancing around the globe with a begging bowl in the hand
India is extremely lucky to have these. I've been to Japan four times and I've always loved riding the bullet trains there.Bharat is inching closer to putting a Bullet train on its tracks.
Japan is providing India with one E5 and one E3 series Shinkansen train set free of charge. These trains are intended for use as inspection and testing vehicles on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail corridor, which is currently under construction. The delivery is scheduled for early 2026, and the trains will be equipped with specialized inspection equipment to collect operational data under India's unique environmental conditions, such as high temperatures and dust.
The primary purpose of this donation is to aid in the development and adaptation of the next-generation E10 series Shinkansen trains, which are planned for introduction in the early 2030s. The E10 series will serve as the main passenger trains for the corridor. However, since the E10 trains will not be ready in time for the partial opening of the line, aimed for August 2027, the E5 and E3 trains will help in gathering crucial operational data to fine-tune the design of the E10 for Indian conditions.
This gesture is part of the broader collaboration between Japan and India on the high-speed rail project, which is largely funded by a low-interest loan from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), covering about 80% of the costs. The financial structure includes a repayment period of 50 years at a nominal interest rate of 0.1%.
This is real friendship

I had a friend in the Pakistan embassy to Japan at one point. Japan actually offered a very good deal to Pakistan and the idiots in charge turned it down in favor of more expensive Chinese lending.
Congratulations.
Being an American, I can't say much as I haven't studied it heavily. It seems like a vanity project when there are critical needs elsewhere.Interesting.
China is the current world leader in fast trains. I would love to know about Pakistan’s plans to transform its railways. It’s long term, extremely capital intensive and even we have been very slow in progressing.
Alhamdulillah hope this is true and many more Bangladeshi cockroaches will be thrown out/leave Bharat on an ongoing basis...
The main issue is my fraud mamata ammayi, that piece of trash just opens the border gates so these cockroaches can flood in.Glad it started but the numbers are still misicule and there is very little cooperation so far from Bangladesh side. Reports are they have refused to take back many of these individuals.
@Rajdeep, Sorry I saw you newest thread was removed/deleted? You must have put some work on that, so you can console yourself with this post from BhaijaanBharat is inching closer to putting a Bullet train on its tracks.

Yes that was indeed my last thread/attempt here. You guys enjoy threads like 'Dear India, stop wasting time on Pakistan because...'@Rajdeep, Sorry I saw you newest thread was removed/deleted? You must have put some work on that, so you can console yourself with this post from Bhaijaan![]()
why would they want to take back their poor people? their version of development is to push all their refugees and poor people to Indian states and proclaim development . they are the worst of worst. If you have travelled to Dhaka and dealt with them in any sort of business you will know. Having worked/working with businesses on both side of the border, i would gladly take Pakistanis over Bangladeshis any day. Pakistani people and businesses are more trustworthy, capable, humble and want to work together whereas Bangladeshis look to pull you down, backstab at any given opportunity.Glad it started but the numbers are still misicule and there is very little cooperation so far from Bangladesh side. 5th August 2019 - Jammu & Kashmir fully integrated with India after Article 370 was nullified and thrown in dustbin.
6th June 2025 - Kashmir linked through Railways with the rest of India via Vande Bharat.
Historic milestone in development of Jammu & Kashmir.![]()
To our captive brothers in PoK, it is our promise that we will free you from the chains of slavery very soon so that you can enjoy the same infrastructure and opportunities that free Kashmiris in Bharat are enjoying.
No.
We don't want them, pakistani leadership has flooded POK with Pakistani Punjabis, if we take POK it would be a bigger headache for us. Just stay clear for POk, we have bigger ambitions in mind next major milestone should be the 10 trillion $$ economy...
Don't worry about it.
You give Punjab police complete control of North for 5 years and we swear on Supercop KPS Gill's aatma we will set the house in order.
I still disagree, I want no part of Pakistani punjabis as part of India.
India opens world's highest single-arch railway bridge in Kashmir
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the world's highest single- arch railway bridge in Indian-administered Kashmir. The term "single-arch bridge" typically refers to a bridge with a single, continuous arch spanning between two supports.
The bridge will connect the valley region of Kashmir with the rest of the country by train for the very first time.
The showpiece infrastructure project, which is built over the Chenab river, is 35m (114ft) taller than the Eiffel Tower and took the Indian Railways more the 20 years to build.
It is part of a 272km (169 miles) all-weather railway line that will pass through Jammu, ultimately going all the way to the Kashmir valley.

We will not let them in.
Once PoK is freed, we will do thorough verification and all non aligned Punjabis will be sent back to Lahore.

Tesla set to open first India showroom in Mumbai by mid-July with Chinese EVs, says report
Tesla Inc. is set to open its first showrooms in India in July, kicking off formal operations in the world’s third-biggest automobile market as the Elon Musk-led firm hunts for growth amid falling sales in Europe and China, people familiar with the discussions said.
According to a Bloomberg report, Tesla's first set of cars have arrived in India – Model Y rear-wheel drive SUVs shipped from Tesla’s China factory, according to the people, who asked not to be identified as the information is private, as well as documents seen by Bloomberg News. The Model Y is the world’s largest selling electric car.
The first showroom is set to open in Mumbai as early as mid-July, which will be followed by one in New Delhi, the report, citing sources, said. It has also imported Supercharger components, car accessories, merchandise and spares from the US, China and the Netherlands, the documents show.
The debut will end a years-long on-again, off-again saga over Tesla’s entry into India - a market Musk has long eyed but held back from entering due to disagreements over tariffs and local manufacturing. The breakthrough in bringing Tesla to India comes after Musk met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the US in February.
Bloomberg News reported in February that Tesla was set to ship a few thousand cars to a port near Mumbai.
Tesla spokespersons did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment on opening of the India showrooms and the preparations underway.
Five Model Y vehicles have already arrived in Mumbai from Tesla’s Shanghai factory, according to documents reviewed by Bloomberg News. The cars were declared at 2.77 million rupees ($31,988) and attracted more than 2.1 million rupees in import duties — a levy that’s consistent with India’s 70 per cent tariff on fully-built imported cars under $40,000 plus surcharges, the documents show.
The model is expected to go on sale for more than $56,000 before taxes and insurance, though Tesla will determine the final sticker price based on its margin and positioning strategy, according to people familiar with the plans.
That compares with an ex-showroom price of $44,990 for the same model in the US, which sells for $37,490 once tax credits are applied.
The premium price tag will likely be a major hurdle to Tesla’s plans as the automaker will need to convince value-driven consumers to open their wallets. EVs account for just over 5 per cent of new passenger vehicle sales in India, but premium cars still represent less than 2 per cent of the market, data with Indian government’s vehicle registration portal show.
The company hasn’t appointed a new country head following the departure of Prashanth Menon, but is beefing up hiring across charging, retail and policy teams, according to people familiar with the matter.
The Model Y imports represent an initial foray into the market and Tesla plans to expand its presence, including offering more models.
It’s leasing warehouse space in Karnataka, in India’s south, and is adding more in Gurugram, outside New Delhi, the people said.
Tesla executives from other countries are making weekly visits, the people said, to the Mumbai and New Delhi showrooms, which are in high-profile, luxury business precincts in an effort to attract affluent shoppers.

I thought Chinese EVs were banned in the Indian market. Bad move, this is like allowing Huawei to operate in India...
Also Elon Musks Starlink given clearance in India is another huge security issue...
Not good.
A lot of those discussions occurred before Operation Sindoor and Trump's betrayal in war against terrorism.
This will be reviewed now. No special favours to Americans must be given in the current political climate.
