TBH after along time Indian batting isn't looking that strong and with Pandya out Pakistan should've never given up.
 
Sarfraz is trying to keep his teams moral high, by keeping fielders spread out, defending <50 in 30+ overs - brilliant idea. Any dumb Captain would have closed the field against 2 new batsmen and allowed them to hit few boundaries, which would have been demoralizing.

May be he got thick in his head as he put more weight. Continuing with Fakhar has been the worst possible choice in recent times. Should go back with Amir. This isn't like 50 over innings anymore
 
Pakistan will bounce back in super 4 and will win AC Final.

Have better bowling attack than any current team

Malik is a much better option than Fakhar!Why on earth is that part timer bowling?He got a phanti in Champions trophy too against the same opposition!

That's what I meant . The Pacers and captain don't think there's any need to bowl them out on this pitch with so few runs to defend. Better to preserve them for the next few matches.

No signal from dressing room about putting more pressure for new batsmen. No cues/ messages etc aftet wickets fell. May be there is a rift between players and the management?

I know it's near to impossible to win, but they could have tried with more aggressive field and bringing strike bowlers into play like Amir as this is not the time to save his overs. Doesn't hurt to try. I mean no intent. Are they kidding?

Why? Is this a knockout game? Just one of those games where you accept that you have been completely outplayed and move on to the serious matches.

Wait, what? Are you even serious? There were two new batsmen. 70 odd runs, they could have put more pressure. You can't seriously justify this
 
Sarfaraz brought Fakhar on to bowl when we stillhad 70 runs to defend and had just picked up a wicket.But yeah why not rest our legendary pacers and Mian Malik for the next match!

We don’t have specialist spinners to effect a miraculous collapse here. The one we had has gone off the field.
 
Amir still bowling away from wickets. He won't ever get swing in UAE with this. Needs to bowl close to wickets, otherwise angle will be too large to bring ball in.

And the other commentators agree with him btw. So obviously it means something to those former players.
 
Too late from sarfraz. Few overs before, it was an ideal scenario to put pressure. I am afraid if this keeps on happening, we should say good bye to the next world cup
 
Pakistan not tiring pacers because they couldn't pick any wickets and gave away runs and there's no hope so why play them?

This game is suddenly not "important."
 
These are the kind of matches to see players like Pant and Gill playing for India, but we end up seeing Rayudu and Karthik huffing and puffing to score 1s and 2s against part timer like Zaman.

The Aussies eventually lost that game and the series but at least they did not give up until the last ball was bowled.
 
Even though Amir hasn't picked up a wicket,he still has been our best pacer!

Amir will never be successful here with this much distance between stumps and him as he delivers the bowl. If he tries bring ball back in, the ball will be going leg byes or missing wickets, as he bowl straight, and bowling straight far from stumps, like him, is bowling on 5th leg stump. He needs to bowl close to stumps. When will he ever learn? May be admins can put this message close to him.

Yep. Think we completely misread the pitch and went for far too many. Also Imam does not belong in this ODI team. He played a similar stupid shot against NZ in the 3rd ODI in January, before he was mysteriously injured.

It’s more about Rayudu and Karthik being rubbish than Amir bowling well. It’s clear he’s not putting in any effort whatsoever.
