What's new

India tour of New Zealand (2022)

India won their last 2 ODI series. One against England in England and one with B team against full strength South Africa.
Sure they can't win every series. NZ at their home are very good side. They are deservedly ranked no. 1 team.

There is no A team or B team. For example you will call an A team when Rohit, Rahul and Kohli are playing? But these guys just lost the world cup for India.

Babar and Rizwan also lost the world cup doesn't mean that their absence won't hurt the Pakistani team or maybe it won't?

As I had expected SKY fails to impress today in the longer format.

Also shows how different ODIs are to T20s, strong start, then NZL coming back strongly in the middle overs, then India again fight back, and now NZ tightening things up towards the end. ODIs bring a lot more variety to the game than T20s which are largely monotonous.

Agree, ODIs reward better sustained skills than T20s, just like Test cricket does over ODIs.

Skill wise & mental strength wise...

1) Tests
2) ODIs

3) T20s (more like baseball)

SKY was in the zone today.. I think in an ODI game if he comes to bat around 30 over mark, he can be really dangerous.

La Nina effect has really spoiled this season in Australia and New Zealand. The phenomenon is expected to end January and hopefully we will get some full games in the new year down under.
