I think taking tongue out is a wrong move

He bowled well in phases

He is fast and has a good bouncer

Archer is just back from injury and he averaged 44 in a recent county game.

Gus yea sure can come in. But tongue must stay imo

Woakes bowling AVG is 13 at the lord's and pitch will be green top which suits him. Bowling first will be huge advantage on green top . India is very unlucky team when comes to winning the toss. I hope this time we win the important toss.

Again, it was confirmed he wasn't betting on any matches he was involved in. The bets were placed across 8 days over a 3 year period.

Yes he broke the ECB rules, but your completely unfounded accusations of Carse being a criminal aren't just ridiculous, they're libellous defamation.

Lord’s pitch looks like a flat, batting-friendly surface with barely any grass already.

it should stay true and get even easier to bat on from Day 2 onwards, so expecting plenty of runs and not much help for bowlers early on.

Naa, Siraj should be the first change bowler. GG & Rohit made a similar mistake in Australia - they kept opening with Siraj and Akashdeep at 1st change, when their records show that Akashdeep has got great nos. in opening the bowling. So Bumrah & Akashdeep should open & Siraj to follow.

Looks stokes wants to bet this entire match on gill's bad luck at the toss.In case of bad luck, eng will be chasing the game just like previous one.
 
India have 3 wins at Lord's in Test cricket, with two of them coming in the last 3 matches.

Outside factors came into play unfortunately that no man could have predicted. Such as England Media reporting that Akash deep was chucking and a subcontinent pitch was curated
 
Another win loading for team india. Could have 2-0 so far if we didn't dropped catch. Tullebaaz team is no match for youngsters team india lead by captain gill .

It's not chucking per say. Tbh i dont really know how to explain it, it was a weak claim. Hold up let me bold the text and you can determine for yourself.

Akash was bowling wide of the crease, and angled the ball in towards the off-stump and invited Root to aim the face of his bat at the same stump, hoping it may hold its line. But, the ball deviated sharply off the seam, beating him all ends up and hitting the top of off stump.

here he cheated Joe Root. When you are angling the ball in from wide of the crease, the batter is forced to think that the ball will come in only from that angle.

Basically England media is claiming AD did something with his body, and footing hence making it an illegal delivery.

But it is an extremely weak claim. Infact i think its one of the weakest allegations i have ever heard from english media all time. Its completely nonsensical.

btw , reports suggest Eng might play Woakes , Archer & Atkinson , does seem risky to have the 2 A's with suspect Test fitness . Bashir has been perfectly useless in the last 2 Tests & Overton for him might be a good idea if Root is willing to do 12 overs in a innings .

Batting will be thin but kuldeep is a wicket-taker and i don't think they will play him at lord's. Maybe at oval where two spinner will be needed.

For lord's test india likely to replace Bumrah with Prasidh, Rest will be same team. Karun is useless at 3 instead they should Play sai who is a future player for india.

Sai useless flat track IPL bully who averages only 35 in first class should nowhere be close to Indian team.

Shreyas, Patidar, Sarfaraz, Ruturaj, Easwaran are much better compared to this ftb.

This is a box office match. I'm really looking forward to it.

A lot of talk is about Englands inability to play the moving ball. I'm not too convinced by India's ability to do it either. If the pitch has some life, it could be a low scoring shootout.

Pretty much. Raw domestic numbers are unreliable on their own, especially Indian domestic where there are too many teams.
 
How would Indian fans feel if the sissy “I need a rest after playing 1 Test in 5 months” GOAT returns but India lose again?

Would you want him playing the remaining Tests? Or would you want to drop him considering that India are a better team without him?

I believe batting depth till 8 is needed

Remember even great Aus team of noughties had Warne and Lee who can both bat a bit

So batting was extended till number 8 to 9 almost

Even SA at their pomp under smith had batting till 8 where philander could bat and even Steyn was not terrible

Also goat Asian team of kohli had bhuvi who could bat at 8 until he quit tests cause of injuries.

Without that cushion it’s a big problem

Although on a spicy pitch I don’t mind

Siraj
Arshdeep

Arshdeep can swing the bat a bit. Quick fire 15 20 runs is useful
Akashdeep isn’t a total mug either.

And that is a potent quartet.

Sai performed against burger and co on spicy south African tracks. He has a great technique. Gaikwad lasted 4 balls against burger across 2 matches and scored grand total of 9 runs .he injured his hand too afrer failing to grab a catch at slips.

Sai and tuktukraj played a odi series in South Africa together on a spicy pitches.

Here are the score of both players

Ruturaj scored 5 while sai 55 not out . Next match Ruturaj 4 , sai 62 . This is the scoreboard of bith players when they last time played against South Africa in South Africa. Tuktukraj fans should know the reality of this fraud before comparing him with sai.

2018 series was a low scoring shoot out. But INdia lost tosses in all 5 tests. Scoreline doesn't really tell the whole story. Some minor turning points completely turned the results. It is more than the ability it is the temperament among modern cricketers. Look at Kohli he was fishing the ball outside the off stump for 4 years non stop. A guy who started playing cricket when T20 was in infancy stage still couldn't give up the habit of flashing. Think about the current era players who are used to feel the ball all the time suddenly abandoning it. Temperament definitely deteriorated. There is no concept of leaving the ball anymore as you can see with Duckett who has the lowest percentage of leaving the ball.

Minus Zimbabwe, Crawley averages 27 across his last 29 Test innings. Surely Lord's is his last chance.
 
Pace bowlers rule at Lords. Batsmen will have issues against slope. Also older ball will get you more wickets than new ball. About 12 or 13 overs old ball will be more dangerous
 
Looks like England have only made one change - Archer for Tongue.

Looks like Carse will have a full workload, then .

Interesting to see how Carse and Stokes pull up while bowling.
