The catch was completed, he'd finished his roll and was in control of his movement to be able to start standing up. It's just poor umpiring.
Hahaha. Are you watching the match? Did you hear Bishop's full analysis? He said the umpire made the right decision.

Stop crying and whining 24*7 ,then play victim mentality as always.

:klopp :kp
chipped back to the bowler! Farhan swoops to take a low catch to his left. Zip and grips, maybe stops in the pitch, and Malhotra punches uppishly off the inside half of the bat. Good reactions from the bowler. The TV umpire just checking that he didn't ground the ball as he put his left hand down - was there any contact with the turf as he rolled over his right shoulder? Zahid Bassarath is taking a good long look at this, and gives it not out!. Actually, looks like the problem was that Farhan put the ball on the ground in order to get up, without having full control over his body

"I've been a strong defender of the law, but if they've deemed it grounded as he's getting up, that's extremely harsh," argues Vaughan. "He appears to be in full control of his movement at that point. Pushing up to stand is not the same as diving/sliding."

You can if you're already in control of your movement. Farhan had completed his roll and was in control of his movement.
He is not in control of the ball AND his movement as he grounded the ball to stable it in his grasp to get up after a dive like that. Thats how it was interpreted and it was fair

Meanwhile are we loosing our way?

Vedant gets out in another halwa fashion...

but good innings, beayyootiful name - Vedant - a name reflecting our nuances, our thousands of years old civilizational ethos...

Hope Abhigyan , Ambrish and co kick on from here..

After the absolute towelling by Vaibhav, Ahmad has surely finished well, it takes big heart and courage to bowl well in face of such sustained pressure.

jeez Abhigyan, what a high risk shot for such low returns...but good bowling to the bowler, he kept his head.

This dismissal might be the difference between 400 plus and a sub score...

all upto Kanishk and Ambrish now...

367/7 in 45.1 ... we have enough btw .
you reckon? I think min of 400...

Pitch is fast, outfield is like a ice skating rink....our bowlers are not too hot either....

need to get guys like Rew and falconer early , but firstly we need to finish well

i fear we are gonna get bowled oout now!...wasting a good start...

Hope we come out and bowl and field like absolutely on fire..

He wasn't, otherwise he wouldn't need support of the ball to stand up. Normal people standing up don't take support from balls.

He was pushing against the ground to stand up, the exact same thing any person would do to stand up from a seated position. He was already in control of his movement at that point to do that.

What is he, 90? Why does he need ball's support to get up?

He also had his other hand to push up if needed but his body was tilted and not in control so he couldn't use it.

Go sit on the floor. Try and stand up without touching the ground with your hands. Using your hands to push yourself up is natural from that position and not a sign that he wasn't in control of his movement.

I still feel given the start and where we were at 25 ov, we are lighter than at least 25 runs..

Overs 31 to 40 i think Engl bowled brilliantly, that Ahmed guy was had to get away, not easy to come back after your initial overs have been absolute thwacked...

Need to bowl well, get guys in right fielding positions, need to get Rew quickly for starters, but first get their openers...

Go India!...Vijayi Bhav! :ifticool :hasan2

I have played cricket. You can easily use your other hand to get up if you have ball in one hand. He was falling over to the ball hand side which is why he needed that hand to stop himself.

Players get up all the time. Never seen anyone use ball like this.

By now you should realize that you are arguing with someone who is too stupid to realize he is stupid

Junior Baz - Ballers will fancy this !
Good to see some cheerleading for the junior Bazballers . Of course , your particular brand of cheerleading didn't work at all for the senior Bazballers in the Ashes but cricket is a game of glorious uncertainties :inti

This Same India u19 got lucky against BD who messed it up themselves. Now going to win the u19 wc. Shows how pathetic most of the rest of the u19 teams are. BD defo could’ve stopped India winning this.
BD can't stop themselves choking , they can't stop anyone

Bitter sore loser, perpetual minnow victim mentality

Vaibhav just scord greatest knock in under -19 World Cup history and that's too in final amd you're talking about a Pakistani tullebaaz. :klopp :kp
Nahin yaar, that Minhas kid is quality as well. Let’s just appreciate all these talented batsmen we are witnessing at this level. They’ll all do well for their respective countries in the coming years. Let’s not put kids down just because we’re comparing.

If this sort of hitting keeps up for another 20 mins or so, expect traffic to increase as our 'neighbours', both and the Indian resident Khatmals will be weighing in :ifticool :yk2 :cobra

England started well. :inti

ENG - 93/1 (12.5 overs).

Disappointed with Deepesh for the whole WC, i feel he's struggled to get his lenghts right

he has the pace and potential.....but feel would Udhav mohan been a better choice in this finals?

Just checked. Surya is a Bihari.

Biharis have a track record of fudging ages. It is quite possible he is an age fudger based on his appearance and Bihari track record. :inti:inti
Mate, even if he was from Antartica or the lost planet of Atlantis or the dark side of the moon and represented India after becoming a naturalized Indian citizen , you'd still say what you always said....

its your default settings and the blinkers over your eyes.....

There you go. Thats how you answer your own queries, do your own research. Brilliant stuff

There was no reason for nasser Hussain to jump in ICC vs BCB issue, it provoked under 19 Indian team unnecessarily against England esp. Vaibhav Suryavanshi
