Tendulkar needs to retire from ODI's agreed , but for fielding ? that coming from a pak fan :))

:ibutt He has a decent record against us

He does though. Even Inzamam could take regulation slips catches when he was 38 like the one Tendulkar missed. If he can't field in the slips he should hide himself somewhere else on the field.

.....and you base that on one incident. I wonder how many Pakistani players need to retire based on that. :P

Ofocurse from very young age till now the run outs between Tendulkar vs Inzamam if taken definitely Tendulkar has to retire because he has very less number run out than the great player :inzi and not fit to play ....

I was rather pointing towards his constant childish rants towards India and Indian players. And no it wasn't a regulation catch, it was an extremely difficult half chance.

Yo, read my second post. I want Tendu to retire so he stops scoring runs :ibutt

Anyway, I'm really down and out after hearing the news about Akram's wife's passing. The match for me has lost it's charm.

Wasim is probably the most visible Paksitani cricketer in India. We all feel his loss.

He is one guy who is loved all over India. I was really hoping for Huma to pull through all of this, someway, somehow. Sad that it was not supposed to be.

in Champions trophy and the series before that wth SL and NZ Sachin wasn't using MRF either.

Decent pace by Siddle, last one was 148.2km/h

he'll be using adidas from here on... was big news in india !!

i think he also loss his charm he change his brand for financial dispute or just for change

india wobbly here....gambhir should stick his left foot in and keep the door ajar.

I always wondered why India or other teams for that matter dont watch tapes of the way Australians set their fields..They have stopped atleast 20 runs in the first 10 overs itself today, amazing how no one will copy Australians on this department.....

Kholi has an excellent chance to step up up here
agreed...kohli can really use this opportunity now... just has to stick to 1's and 2's and play a big innings here

few other teams field as well as australians actually... s.a ... maybe even the kiwis...
indians and asians in general cant field well cos of the rotten graounds and stadiums that they play their school cricket etc... they are scared to even dive... everyone wants to bat or bowl... no one wants to field

You need to have the fielders in your team in the first place. And they need to be good, fast and switched on. We do not pick anyone in ODI who cannot field well.

I note Ponting delivered and Tendulkar did not. Tendu scoring at 50% SR when chasing 293. :13:

India RR 5.05
Required RR 6.13
Australia RR 5.84

8 wickets in hand - very much doable with one good partnership

Go India :)

Just noting that one guy delivered and the other one didn't.

Good to see GG getting hit by a fielder's throw, better be careful he don't wander over and hit someone again....

And this false commentary calling wickets when they have not happened should be getting someone banned..... :13: Not on.

Tendy and Sehwag are gone, if we can get Gambhir we'll be into the tail!

like the way these two are playing ..not taking pressure at all .

Australia will wait for that one moment of madness...

6.4
Hopes to Kohli, leg byes, 1 run, Big appeal for lbw but turned down, angled in sharply as Kohli looks to work it away on the leg side, that was missing leg, good decision by the umpire

Sample commentary:
Hopes to Kohli, 1 leg bye, loud shout for lbw. It landed on a length on the off and cut in sharply and struck Kohli in front of the leg. The umpire reckoned it would have missed leg ; Hawk Eye says it would have hit the leg stump.

Sample commentary if India were bowling:
Hopes to Kohli, 1 leg bye, loud shout for lbw. That looked close! It landed on a length on the off and cut in sharply and struck Kohli in front of the leg. Very very close indeed. The umpire reckoned it would have missed leg, you might remember this umpire from the match at Calcutta where he gave Tendulkar out, another controversial decision here; Hawk Eye says it would have hit the leg stump, why can't we have referrals in this series?
Amit writes in from Bangalore: "As always the luck is with the Aussies" Can't disagree with you there Amit, now back to the cricket, India need to put that behind them and push on for a win here.

Oh no Hopeless is injured. This may mean Cameron White has to bowl.

:( :( :(

MJ is in his rubbish mode today. Either excellent or rubbish, no in between with him.

Hopefully Hopeless will not play another game this season and hopefully SOMEBODY BETTER will finally slot into his spot. I don't know how he's held that spot.

HENRIQUES

Gambhir with a 6 first..and Kohli with a 4 now..
These two need to continue with the partnership

australia is facing tough time now

17.5
Johnson to Kohli, FOUR!!, Dug in short and Kohli had all the time in the world to pick his spot, rocks back and hammers it over mid wicket for four, stamp of authority on that!
