White nearly gets Dada c&b.

Good first over all things considered.

We won that session comfortably, MJ the standout although Shane Watson was surprisingly economical.

Guess every bowler is surprisingly economical when Dravid is batting though
 
Breaking News : Har Bhajan in tears as 4 - 0 looks difficult...
One More : Tendulkar and Laxman upset they did not announce retirement.
Both praying for Gangulys faliure

Get off Dravid's back he is actually scoring unusually fast normally his strike rate is well below 40.

Edit - need a bowling change, these starting to look comfortable against medium pace

Amusing to hear him sucking up to the Indians now he is commentating in India. Usually he is sucking up to the Aus team on Australian TV.

i know he got the 'tumbling' wall out but he has given too many lolli pops in my opinion
 
Now Nicholas is slavering over Ms Dhoni, this man is an unstoppable fountain of adoration for whoever is paying him at the time.

Well Watson is actually doing really well considering what the expectations are for him. Most Aussie fans think he is a dud and can't bowl at all.

12 overs 1/28 is awesome as far as I am concerned from him.

Yeah they went on an on about it, showing in slo mo and then showed it at full speed from the camera closest to the umpire's view and said "well it looks out on that camera" :)))

Was plumb, would have hit middle stump.

So far I have to give credits to Ponting, his field placings for each batsmen is precise and outstanding, I have not seen anything like it, put it bluntly; JUST AMAZING. Umpiring so far has been outstanding as well, so far fair me feels :) and I cant believe I am saying this. Well done to both UMPS especially Asaf Rauf... Well this is going to be one heck of a series, as usual it is safe to say Ozzies are going to win the 1st test but they should be in for some nasty surprises as well :D....
 
Now to the bad news rather a possible inevitable loss; If Ganguly scores heavily chance for dropping him for good from next test would become slim :(...

So now Australian spinners have levelled the Indian spinnners in terms of performance.
 
Cameron White bowled a decent spell there, well done Bear.

Certainly was not the massive liability feared, although the match situation helped him immeasurably. Still looked OK at Test level, which is a plus because nobody thought he would.

Tea now, India need 21 to avoid the follow on but we wouldn't enforce it anyway. As if you want to bat last on this pitch, it will be a horror.

We will bat again & try to put the game out of India's reach.

Cameron White reminds me of "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes

Australia with another rubbish appeal. Both sides have been guilty of this in this match. Hope match ref has a word to both captains.

One of those periords prior to the new ball when almost all captains let the game drift. It can be infuriating.

Field placings have been very good from Ponting, very few boundaries conceded once Virender "You are cheats" Sehwag got out.
