Good comment on cricinfo about Dhoni not being happy

30.1

Bollinger to Dhoni, OUT, and he strikes first ball! Dhoni is not happy! This is pitched within stumps, and there is no swing, hence missing the off stump, if not by much. Dhoni is not pleased with the call, but he was gone earlier, caught behind to the same bowler, but was not given

MS Dhoni lbw b Bollinger 24 (77b 1x4 0x6) SR: 31.16

Bollinger comes back

Bollinger is really really bowling very well. He's a great bowler, has it all - good pace, good accuracy, and good control.

Troubled Pakistan in the recent ODI series quite a bit as well.

Surely one for the future for Australia, along with McKay who's done quite well actually. Australia's pace attack in the future after Lee's gone will be very very strong, with Siddle, Bollinger, and Johnson.

Uh oh Kumar is in

He has done well and now takes Bracken's ODI spot. In the mix for Tests but would be second choice not first.

150, if we can get that we can extend the oz innings till atleast 14 oversssssss...

Ahem. The NZ side you are playing is not but if they were at full strength I am sorry but they are a better ODI side than Pakistan. As in right now. Not on potential not on talent but on performance.

You might be right. A full-strength NZ with the likes of Ryder, Elliott, etc. will just edge out Pakistan.

But it's also Pakistan's fault as people who don't deserve to be picked are being picked consistently. If the selectors were in their right minds and picked people who actually deserve to be in the team, Pak is better than the NZ side anyday.

:))) the "Jeera Plus" biscuit on the GEO Super channel is so retarded.

On a serious note, 120ish targets are trickier to get than 150-180 ones. In a weird sort of way.

True. It's hard to explain why.
I agree with you.

Just woke and saw the match situation and boy am i very HAPPY today. exceptional bowling by Bollinger and johnson. now Bollinger is in my list of great bowlers. he bowled beautifuly. hope they are all out under 100 which will be awsome to see and aussie winning it comfortably

Found this on an Aussie forum and I like it.

"Dougy!

Poor decision in reality, but it's India, so who cares."

About Dhoni's wicket :)))

All depends on the opening spell, with my man Nehra taking the new ball I dont expect to see anything unsual rather than the usual 6-7 runs per over..

Nehra doesn't deserve to be in the team actually. They haven't even played Tyagi yet.

True. But it also depends upon the Aussie approach. If they are chasing what they think is a smallish total, they may choose to play it safe, hence causing their own downfall.

On a separate note, your (and Dhoni's) favourite Jadeja is playing one hell of a backbone innings. :)

I don't really understand that. It is not as if the Indian quicks have been doing well.

Pitch is really not good for batting. It would be a very tough chase for OZ anything over 150

Are you secretly Indian follower? All your posts are boosters for them :13:

India's tail has made a game of it. It may still not be enough but Aussies will have to bat well

Bollinger (after being inexplicably removed from the attack) finally comes back and gets the hack to get his second 5 wicket haul in 7 ODI's.

8/149

I gat to admit this Nehra is an awesome talent...

For the opposition team that is...

Good fighter this Kumar. Respect.

But should be a pretty easy chase for us. You have to remember who their bowlers are.

lol

Nehra tries to launch one into the orbit. Gets bowled instead.

In other words he is showing THE batsmen how to bat on such wicket.

"A man gots to know his limitations..."

All out 170. Kumar not out 54 from 51 balls.

:) True.

Well 171 to win. Australia favourites. But is there a twist in the tail?

Shocking performance by India, was it a seaming wicket? If not then this batting performance is riddiculous for such a powerful batting line up like India's.

Hahahahhahahahahhahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahah

Rock Starz getting humiliated by Australia's second (third ?) string team.

From cricinfo:

"Thanks to Jadeja, and especially PK's batting in the final few overs, we have a contest on. But the wicket has eased out a bit. That said, it wasn't really a 27 for 5 wicket at any rate. See you with Australia's chase"

We are missing, through injury:

Lee
Bracken
Siddle
Hopes
Henriques
Ferguson
Clarke
Haddin
Paine

May be Kumar's day if he can get some swing on a cloudy afternoon though it seems game up for all practical purposes.

India did well just to get 170, pretty poor batting collapse by the top order.

Funny Dohni is the one who won the toss and chose to bat and now the pitch is supposed to ease for Aussies.
Is Dohni taken up by the satay baz?

On serious note if not for the tail India would have been really embarassed by this make shift Aussie team.

I think Oz bad fielding, drop catches also saved india from shame

Wow that's an extremely fast delivery from Praveen Kumar, pure pace right there of 75.3mph!

Seriously they have to open the bowling with the spinners, these useless bowlers like Nehra is not needed at the moment..

Perhaps he has decided to enjoy what is left of his international career

0/15 after 3. Watto smashing them again.

Assoka has got to be the worst umpire to have been on the elite panel...ever...

Are you kidding me or what ? I thought his career was finished years back and now he makes his way back from the dead ?? are YOU SERIOUS >>>>??? how the hell can Nehra come back into the side ??.Meanwhile Aussie commentator saying 'Indian body language is down' yeah def their body language is down, they are running around smiling and laughing after being hit for 4's and giving away wide's and while getting out when they were batting.. Yep body lang def down for the Indians..

I meant his comeback is not going to last long by the look of it....

Munaf gets Marsh. I rate Munaf, certainly better than Nehra.

The only way I can reconcile this situation is by this: Nehra knows something that we ordinary mortals don't?

Yeah I agree he is a horrible umpire and for once he got something right, Marsh out pitched in line hitting the off stump he is def improving..

Why even give him a chance for a comeback ???

From Indian standards, definitely.

One way of throwing the cat into the midst of pigeons is to get the Aussie ace early. And you never know what may happen.

The only real Indian pace bowler is Zaheer. The others are all pretenders. Just like Pakistani openers barring :iamlegend and :shahzaib .

Yes Alliya Nehra knows us mortals will never get to get on an international cricket field and bowl hit me balls & at the same time get to smile while doing so..

Australia vs India. Hmmmmmmmmmmmn. Well that's a tough one to decide who to root for. Let's just say I am not particularly perturbed whichever way the match may go. :moyo

But I definitely like to see exciting matches. So yes, they need to take Ponting if this match is to be a competitive one.

Well said. I don't like Oz much. But the way the Indian media and fan brag about their team, I can't help support Oz. I was just listening to Indian News and it sounded like series is already even, way before the match

Interesting period of play - one feels that a fall of another wicket could put pressure on Australia

Watson now - finally being able to play a series of matches without being injured - showing why he is rated so highly by the Aus selectors. Building a very impressive ODI record.

64/1 in 14.5 overs lets see india has any chances or lost the series today

Watson is truly the super all rounder who can bowl as well as bat. may i not jinx him. I think what they will do with openers like phil hughes he is also good david warner where is now a days injured or playing domestic any news

i think all the indian pper run away no poster i am alone here i think hehehe

Phil Hughes should be back in the Test team so long as he makes some runs this summer. Warner is in the mix but both of them will find it hard to take the place of Marsh or Watson.

Watson will probably bat at 3 or 4 for Australia long term.

2/85 Watson gone for a run a ball 49.

i think i jinx Mr.Watto sorry mate...

ALways good to let the Bunny know who his daddy is :D.. Even in a losing cause gawd its fun to play around the Bunny's mind :D.

Thank Modi most of the Indian cricketers don't have the fight in them like Harby.

79 runs required with 7 wickets in hand, I think we are OK Indianiyat.

Well and truly.

And because Ponting is 3/4 of Aussie batting, the cat is definitely among the pigeons.
