I agree. They have weathered the storm after Ponting's dismissal I guess.

The worm isn't dead but being a worm it moves slow and needs time.
Anyway good to see Aussies struggling against our part time spinners.

Was more fun to see your oh so highly rated batsmen get destroyed by MJ and Bollinger. :D 5/27 in the series decider on their home wickets.

I think we will be entering the phase of the last rites fairly soon.
 
So australia dominate india once again continuing winning series in india.but this time it was most depleted side of Australia to win the series, Bravo Australia./
 
So i think dhoni,s honey moon over. loss in t20 loss in Ct now Aussie series .except the Sri lanka tri series. 2009 is bad for dhoni

Dhoni made the wrong choice, thats all. He should have let Ponting call the toss.
 
Now with the series decided I should let Watto off his duties in my Avtar. Well done lad. Enjoy your time off and do come back in your usual glory next time.

I think they did it deliberately to make sure the Indians don't lose too much heart etc.

Can Gambhir bowl? We have seen Dhoni bowl earlier. He has as the comms mentioned used 9 bowlers. What a desperate man!
 
So Australia win by 6 Wickets throughly professional manner even they lost their first choice player.
 
India must be really disappointed. This was their best chance to beat Australia.
No clarke,no furguson, no haddin, no Lee, no bracken and many more players sent back due to injury.
Maybe time to produce another dravid for india now?
 
Well i guess both India and Pakistan are equal now. Even we lost to a weak Aussie team in UAE in April but the only difference was that we werent really as full strength as the Indians were so this will smart even more for the Indians. Plus the Aussies i feel were a lot weaker on this tour with so many injury problem.

Yes against Pakistan they had Clarke, callum furguson, watson, haddin, Symonds and Bracken. They were much much stronger then.
 
Give Salute TO Great Punter after losing ashes i thought Australia will lose this also But Great Come back by punter winning CT 09 and this series Bravo.

Indian bowling limitations have been made starkly clear in this series. Munaf just adds to oppositions munafa. Sharma very disappointing. Hopefully Sreesanth can be brought out of his sin bin and ZAK recovers soon.

the inconsistency of the lineup has got exposed ...

to think of it we lost 2 matches by 4 runs and 3 runs resp and couldnt chase down 250
that is where the difference is the aussies ruthlessness towards victory.

i wouldnt blame the bowlers much
1st match flat track they gave away 288 i say 10-15 runs more but hat was more due to our fielding

2nd match they got aussies out at 255

3rd match they got aussies out at 230

4th match they got aussies out at 250

5th match poor performance

6th match ok performance

its the batting that has failed to click in unison

Spot on again... we were missing Asif, Yousef, No M Aamer, opening weakness, Umar Akmal... Nazir, Razzaq, Rana.. yet i believe it was still 3-2.

This was a much stronger Indian side against a much weaker Aussies.

I was expecting India to take the series.
 
Lol..once again the myth of invincible India had been shattered..I've been saying it for a while now..where is all the new Indian talent?? Ok Pakistan aren't Playing well but at least we have seen some talent emerge..but other than an overweight raina and a overrated kohli I haven't seen anything..they even brought back nehra..maybe there are real selection issues and politics going on?? what is happening in the associations?? What will happen when the big guns retire?? Ominous times for India at the moment!!
 
Shekhar Dhawan, Manoj Tiwary, Rohit Sharma are very good but has IPL spoilt their hunger for international glory???

Honestly why care to improve your talent if they are already sitting on cash!

I must say I enjoyed this series, and for ODI cricket it was really entertaining.
 
Dhawans a good player so why isn't he in the squad,,?? kohli is rubbish..and so is raina!! the Indian bowling without zaheer is impotent, he'll even with him it isn't all that too..why isn't misjra in the team?? Where are your spinners?? all I see are trundlers and part timers or proven failures being brought back over and over again!! The ipl cash looks like it's slowly eating at the foundations of Indian cricket!!
 
Raina is a class player, IMO the best young batting talent in India today...Dhawan has not really impressed me to be honest, his technque is quite shoddy...Tiwary seems to be a good player, he could be looked at for a middle order spot in Tests...Kohli I don't like at all

Spot on Savak. I think against Pakistan Aus were much stronger and were missing only 1-2 main players but in this series against India they are missing 6-7 main players

congrats to aussie and thanks to aussie for making us HAPPY. loved it. would have been more sweet if aus had got them out on 80 or under 100. so now official demise of indian team starts
. were kicked out in 1st round of 20-20 wc then same happened in CT and now a serious kick A** beating by aussie. great. india had much better team then aus. their 11 were injured but still won the series. truly they are the world's best team and still no.1. hope pak has a great match and tour with aussie.
 
Congrats to Aussies on series win, once again there bench strength has shone through.
 
has anyone noticed the Indian teams expanding waist lines?? bloated, overrated and overhyped..I believe yuvi epitomises team India..!!
