They need another wicket or two to create panic, but who will take them, they hardly have any good bowlers.

I know that, I was asking about the exact rule. Does the back foot have to be ahead of the stumps or were they checking the side lines?

It is not about how far behind or ahead of the stumps you are but how wide you are from the stumps, from the side line you cannot have your footer on the line or beyond it.

All we need is at least an 100 run partnership from these two (Gauti and Virat in next 20 overs)

Cricinfo on back foot no ball:

Nitin Sundar: "Right, when a bowler's back foot cuts the side crease (which is perpendicular) to the main bowling crease, it is a no ball. Tait came close to cutting it, but didn't. The heel of his back foot did not land actually, might have been cutting if it did. But his backfoot was was on the toes."

To fellow Indian PPers: I still think India will win this game with ease. Wait till Yuvraj comes on, I'm pretty sure he'll go not out with a match-winning knock; he's that kind of big-match player. But still, I'm happier if the match goes down to the wire!

Thanks. That's how I understand the rule. From the replays, it seemed like they were looking at where his foot was landing on the back line instead of the side line. My bad.

come our Indian brothers here....

dont lose heart Tendulkar wasnt going to win you the match, your lucky he is our his 100 is a jinx for your team...

I am happy he is gone ...

And hopefully INDIA will win this....

GO ON INDIA!
