after listening to the commentary of mushy and zaheer, all of a sudden, amir sohail and rameez raja sound like english gurus, but they are better neways

Nah, its all part of the fun. Its fun bumping stupid posts/threads after a match/series is completed.
 
Pakistan depends on Afridi now at the death to get some quick runs which he is capable.
 
BTW>> Here's a stat : Mohammad Yousuf has completed over 1000 ODI runs against India. He is the 7th Pakistan batsman to do so

Are you even watching? They're trying everything. The pitch is very slow and is really turning. Pak will do good to get to 250. This isn't a 300 pitch.
 
Younis khan was almost out 3 times in that over. He's all over the place
 
YK tries to be too cute sometime in ODI ... I wish he played more like he does in test matches where he scores quite quickly.

I have an Idea, let's not depend on him. Let's play like he wasn't there.. Therefore our run rate would be better.

Khan has been very ordinary..

The two should realize that just rotating the strike till the 35 overs would do the job for Pakistan. Anything above 250 will be a good score on this pitch.

Umpires doing Ind favors by not giving Younis out.

We need to break this partnership in the next 5 overs or so ! Cant let someone like Yousuf settle down ... Maybe an over or two of pace should unsettle him ...

nothing unsettles Yousuf. he is too good to be unsettled. You either have to bowl an unbelievable delivery or wait for him to make a mistake

Indian spin duo bowling well. Mixing it up and not letting the batsman settle into a groove.

Its not a weakness really but he does look a bit tentative to get forward when playing against a left arm spinner ... Hope Karthik builds some pressure by pitching it in the channel of the off stump and turning it away (thus bringing the slip into equation) ...
 
Very good running. It seems like when Yousuf comes to the crease - we start taking many more singles and doubles. Even Younis seems to get more composed.

I have not rated Murali very high as he largely depends on conditions. But his county stint has helped him a lot. He had really good outing. I think pakistan should have given chance to Saqi.

That's why I think he should come one down. Pressure goes off when he comes in.
 
younis cant even pick singles what is he doing this is really lazy batting
 
It is comical to see some of the shots from Younis. He seems to be someone who is fixated on the idea only unorthodox shots can bring him runs.

this Ramiz Raja guy is a pathetic commentator...even though Kamran Akmal was plumb (as they showed in replay) it was hitting middle and offstump and it was low too..it was clean out in replay..but Rameez Raza kept saying that the decision was wrong..he is so Biased and stupid...

I'm a massive yk fan but watching him in this innings makes me cringe

he ain't biased. the impact was outside leg. go check for yourself.
 
I think its time to start taking a few risks now ... I mean we have only lost 2 wickets and we're heading into the last 20 overs. C'mon someone attack the spinners.

I am fairly happy with the way things are at the moment.

94 for 2....wickets in hand and over 20 overs to go on a low and slow wicket which is going to get lower and slower as the game progresses. Plus there are cracks on the pitch which will open up some more.

Pakistan are on top at the moment. It would be nice if we rotated the strike a little more but I’m not worried about that yet as we still have plenty of batting to come. These two should look to bat until the 35th over or so.
 
this is the kind of pitch where we need an afridi/razzaq/nazir to just hammer the ball ...

when the next wicket falls - afridi must come in !!
 
even Dada knows the importance of these 2 for their victory. hence he dropped the catch. ;)
 
:6: Ganguly drops..just great Not only can he not bat or bowl..he can barely field...ok..i am just going over the top.. :(
