Toughest match in the group stages for India but not the Kiwis

If India loses to Nz and Pakistan loses to Bangladesh, 19 should be a cracker.

Even if India lose to NZ and Pak beat Bang, it'll still be a cracker because the streak will still be there.

Both results have a low chance of happening however.

Todays weather is cloudy hope for no rain yesterday there was no rain

In India due factor hardly comes in.
IIRC in IPL also they use APSA-80 chemical from amway to reduce due in day night matches and it will be deployed in WT20 matches too.
India also gave these chemicals to Bangladesh in last WT20 in knockout stage of the tournament.

Wow, good for you.
:srini in making.

I get the feeling Boult is going to go for plenty.

I'm picking Milne to be our best bowler and KW to top score for us.

India have Big chances to win today, Bcs they have bating power and the big point crowd will help India to beat New Zealand, Brendon McCullum was the Big Power of New Zealand. But can't say that who will win. BCS Cricket is By chance game "and will change in one Ball"

Anderson will come good against us if he survives Ashwin, plays for ipl and him and bumrah play for the same team there.

India probably has the best bowling for the conditions and all their bowlers are in form. Their batting is solid with kohli being their rock and yuvraj finding some form as well.

guys bad news here is raining in my area not heavy shower though only light shower dont know bout situation in khamla stadium is just 25km from here

pic from Tadoba Nagpur

This tiger, which is found all over India was erroneously named Royal Bengal Tiger by Britishers in the past. 80 % population of this so called Bengal tiger is found in India. It should in reality be called Royal India Tiger. The biggest population of these tigers are found around Nagpur (in places like Kanha, Tadoba, Bandhavgarh etc).

Should be cracking game between the two favorites to begin the main competition today. Surprised India haven't beaten Kiwis in a T20 game before. I think these two sides will set the benchmark for rest of the tournament today.

Hoping for an exciting game but want India to win otherwise things will get complicated for the group

bouncy and seam friendly

What Norman ji?

Still in trance. :srini:

I went to cricinfo and it says this:

Rain probably doesn't strike twice in Nagpur, but it was overcast on the eve of the match and the forecast is said to be partly cloudy on Tuesday. The surfaces in use for the qualifiers here have been dry. Balls have stopped on the batsman a bit - even offcutters from the seam bowlers.

you must be in a cricinfo trance lol i have it on good authority that rain has spiced the pitch up nicely

i know that

this time they will use center pitch which is run feast last time this pitch use during 2011 world cup n u know the result that was high scoring match

A flat pitch increased Nz chances ..if its a dust bowl Nz have no chance at all

from were he got that pic that too close ask him the pic is of center pitch because the center pitch is exxlusively made for this match

im not an indian fan he is irish and just works there i don't care what the pitch is like i want new zealand to win

I hope all of India's matches get rained out and they get eliminated without even getting a chance. :ibutt

Laxman looks like he has come prepared for analysis, while on the other hand Wasim looks ordinary in front of him. Only fame is saving him here otherwise he is such a poor analyst. He even called New Zealand's bowling as one of the best in this WC, while the truth is all of their fast bowlers barring Milne tend to leak a lot of runs.

Pitch has no grass and plenty of cracks.
This is not a flat pitch at all, Ashwin should have a field day.

Want Guptill to smash a 50 ball 100, then remove his helmet and do this to the home crowd:

I feel India are favourites but NZ have a better chance of beating India than Australia do,

So a Dust bowl has been put forward for the opening game...I am surprised !
Get ready to see doctored pitches for Indian matches throughout the tournament

For all the hype about NZ's strength, talent, etc, and their so-called 4-0 dominance over India in T20s, I am afraid this is going to be a fully one-sided affair in favor of India with NZ batsmen & bowlers both proving inadequate in these conditions. The only threat for India is going to be South Africa
