India have all the money, the most powerful board, are going through their best period, have so many matches at home and have fanatical fans yet are not as good as Pakistan in tests. Sad.
 
Pakistani's getting jealous and trolling indians here because they know that their tailenders (aka batsmen) would have been out for less than 100 on this pitch.

Kapil dev saying "bohot dino ke bad koi acchha off spinnes dekhne ko mila hai"

doesnt consider ajmal as decent off spinner. :))

Shillingford looks great. Man has all the variations and he is tall and getting great bounce.

I wont call getting to 200 as lucky because we still have ROhit/MSD and Ashwin.

Bhuvi can also bat and has played some good innings in domestic on these surfaces.

I think India will score around 220.
 
Didn't watch the match but is Shillingford as good as his figures suggest ?

Or Swann who came to India and downed Indian batsmen which is no mean feat. I guess Kapil doesn't watch cricket too often.

Watch the highlights. He has all the variations and he bowls a lot quicker through the air. His doosra troubled a few Indian batsmen. The pitch is already seeing some uneven bounce.

Brotha got 48 wickets in 10 matches. That is not luck.
 
Shillingford's performance is no surprise i remember he bowled very well in his home series vs AUs n Zim
 
I read somewhere that in last 5 years pakistan won only 1 test series. is that right?? Genuine question.

He looks very good bowler to me. I was expecting him to do well here. Got some lucky decisions but bowled really well.

Well, Habhajan, Ajmal and so many others chuck now a days so let's not go there. Some one posted earlier that Bedi has already started talking about full sleeve of this guy in his tweets. I can see slight chuck but not too much.

Strongly disagree. By this definition I think you are taking out a huge chunk of bowlers around the world. Bhajji and Ojha are both class bowlers, the former especially. Would not call them chuckers.

By this definition, really only Shane Warne, Saqlain and Swann to an extent from my life time are three really successful "non-chucking" spinners.
 
Dhoni n Rohit has stabilized it last i checked they were 80 odd for 5 but now 120/5 at lunch

Most spinners who bowl Doosra chuck these days. Very few are clean.

Shillingford has bowled well but Tendulkar & kohli were not out .

I agree with Nasser Hussain on this. If the ICC has parameters in place and players meet those parameters, it is unfair to deem them illegal or cheats. The ICC has biomechanics at their disposal and they use it to determine the legality of an action. If bowlers meet the standards then who are we to call someone a cheat?
