Yes, leggies always trouble weak teams, but if only they could spin. Chahal doesn't spin the ball at all. I don't know why Amit Mishra keeps getting neglected. He would have torn apart Zimbabwe like he did last time.
Fizz and Bhuvi were the death bowlers in his IPL team. Now we know why Warner kept Sran a 100 ft away from the ball during death
I don't know why he was picked in the first place.

Chahal can spin the ball.
He used to spin it in IPL.
Mishra isn't selected cos he isn't considered a upcoming youngster. He is in the main team anyways.
We ain't going anywhere with this Axar Patel type of bowlers. Jaddu was unique but don't think Axar is an answer for the future.

Had a very good IPL.
Bowled in Chinnaswami Stadium Bangalore for 50% of his games. That's like the toughest ground to bowl in IPL.

What this series has decisively proven is that Dhoni is over the hill in T20s and should not even be in the national side any longer forget being the leader. Also that time is ripe for him to be relieved of his captaincy duties across formats.
Clueless as a batsman who has lost his hitting ability. Better to give his spot to someone younger. I wonder what the younger players feel about his ZERO contribution on the tour.

If he continues to bowl at 81-82 mph, he will go no where in international cricket. He was regularly hitting 140+ in IPL, was 8-10 KMPH slower here, ditto with Dhawal Kulkarni. Both seemed to be bowling way too many cutters for some reason and were not putting in any effort despite pitches having decent bounce and carry. Bumrah was around 85-86 mph consistently so cant blame their slow speeds on the speed gun either.

I would say we need to give a little bit of support for a guy who is still new to the circuit. Considering that our bowlers dont have the temperament to stage a come back after being hit, he did show encouraging signs when he started bowling batter after getting hit from the middle of the last over. Yes he did go for more than the expected number of runs, but we need to be mindful of the fact that he is still new and this is probably the first time such a lot was riding on him.
Admittedly he bowled a lot slower than the IPL. But perhaps he was asked to do so and he could have just executed the plan as told to him.
I see a lot of worth in persisting with this guy considering that he is a left armer and is tall. He can use his height to his advantage and he has developed a ball that cuts into the right hander which is invaluable..
Be patient. He will get better.

Hopefully Dhoni retires from T20 and we never select Dhawal, Rayudu, Axar and Jadhav again ( inspire of today's innings)

Sran is a decent bowler, certainly not bad as he is made out to be and definitely not a Vinay kumar or an Ashok Dinda. He needs more experience and it's not like we have Starcs and Rabadas in our domestic circuit.

Why don't you consider that even these lallu panju players managed to win a series against Zimbabwe on their home soil, that too after snatching victory from the jaws of defeat in the last game?
The negativity of some Indians can be quite shocking! Grow up people!

It's zimbabwe not south africa. The kind of facilities, exposure, money and fake confidence these lallu panju players get through IPL should be good enough to beat teams like zimbabwe. If you think winning a series against zimbabwe by 2-1 is some kind of accomplishment then good for you. We should always send our strongest team with only 2-3 newbies against weaker teams.
