Yep Mustafizur was unlucky because the batsmen were beaten by his cutters and didn't Nick it. That's the most absurd comment I've heard all day. Again, I'm not discounting his prowess to contain the runs. He is a good death bowler and that's all there is. In T20s, economy rate is very important and he is playing a crucial role no doubt. But, he's not picking wickets for fun like some people claimed on this forum. His cutters were deadly at the beginning of his career and the effectiveness has tapered off. The stats are there to see. Raina played him comfortably today and Jadeja is a tailender and played like one. Indians in general have been playing him well this year because they are reading him. Fizz is useless at the top of the order because he can't swing it and also his cutters won't grip. He can be effective in the middle overs if the pitch is slow. He is good at death because he can pick up a few cheap wickets when batsmen are going after him. He should be compared to Bravo who plays a similar role and not to Starc or Amir because they are lethal at the top of the innings. Anyway, enough discussion on this as I'm already tired. I've been on record multiple times and was proven right that wickets will be hard to come by for him once batsmen read him. You will see a slow decline in his effectiveness unless he can swing the ball or bring the ball back into the batsmen. Or else you'll just be counting the number of times he picks up tailenders like Jadeja and nothing else.
