Indian woman in US accused of trying to shoplift $1,300 worth of goods from Target, pleads with cops

maybe she can tear up her passport and avoid deportation like these guys here.

>>Their deportation is currently blocked by Pakistan because the men renounced their citizenship and tore up their passports, leaving them 'stateless'.<<

We cannot blame the whole India for 1 such incident... Let's no generalize anything... The people who do this kind of stuff should be punished whether they are from India, pakistan or wherever.
Were not blaming India, we are however blaming Modi's Hindutva India.

Sure all sorts commit crimes, but the cult feels they are entitled to respect and subservience because India is allegedly, drowning in money and the world owes India for all the historic ills.

Must be a slow day if they resort to posting news about petty thieves who are of Indian origin.

It’s funny how these crime reporters on Pakpassion conveniently missed on a terrorism and US national security threat news shown below.🙄

Why don't you condemn this thief instead of resorting to whataboutism? :inti

I'd rather die of hunger than steal anything.

If you are hungry , then it is not wrong to steal. The wealth is concentrated in hands of few people and they keep sucking blood of lower people.

I used to work in Wal Mart ( retail ) once I saw one destitute old woman eating chicken ( pre cooked ) inside the store. The manager came in , I stopped her , I said she is a homeless person also old , no point in exposing her. She agreed.

If Kumar becoming CEO of a tech company after throwing away his passport is used to praise India then this daughter of the soil stealing from US can be used to criticize all India too.

However thanks to the urgent clarification from our esteemed Indian posters I have realized it's actually Muslims to blame and our Indian friend were able to offer a detailed psychological examination of the lady and concluded she suffers from kleptomania and is not in control of her actions.

Thanks to their urgent clarification rather than deporting the Ill lady the best course of action is to gang up on a Muslim food seller in a street or taunt some Muslim old man.

In developed countries, there are a lot of avenues of support for necessities like food. You have foodbanks and soup kitchens easily available

They really don't need to shoplift for food. Most shoplifters do it for the money.

Is that all it takes?

Utter nonsense.

Humans go to extreme lengths when they are hungry.

So easy for you to make macho claims.
That's true. People can survive without a home, but not without food. That's why so many poor people live on the streets yet still manage to survive because they somehow find ways to get food. :inti

I am talking about " food " not other things , in certain circumstances.

"Where do you live?"

"India"

The look on the police officers face said it all after her confession that she is Indian.
Her name is Jimisha and she looks exactly like Damru Jay Shah. :yk :inti

Indians should make sure they humiliate US citizens whenever they get the opportunity.

US made a huge issue out of a very regular low level crime.

You gets set a dangerous precedent by clapping when Trump blindfolded and handcuffed some poor labourers and deported them in a military jet.

Can't complain now.

US made a huge issue out of a very regular low level crime.

There are dozens of youtube channels solely devoted to police bodycams. US laws allow this .. all you need to do as a citizen is file a FOIA petition (Freedom of Information Act) and you can access bodycam footage of any police incident in the US. Such footage is part of public record. Amazing transparency.

This isn’t just some random incident, well, maybe it would’ve been if Indian media hadn’t plastered it everywhere. But they did. It’s Indian outlets that turned this into a headline frenzy.

So let’s stop blaming Pakistan for it. This thread would’ve died a quiet death if certain Indians weren’t so eager to twist it into something bigger. But here we are, because it seems like India feels the need to defend every wrong committed by any Indian, no matter how minor or irrelevant.

Cult members and stealing isn’t something new.

The cult have been stealing our identities, stealing our data, stealing our jobs, stealing our peace, - the list of stealing is endless with the cult.

She is such a dumb criminal.

Does she not know there are cameras? How can someone be this dumb? :inti

Despicable.

Looks like he wanted make Muslims look bad.

Lucky for you, your nation will not be denied the honor of stealing money. Stealing groceries or clothes is one thing. Your brother takes the crown from all stealing Indians by force. :cobra

A man attending college in Emporia, Kansas, has been charged with stealing $25,000 from an 83-year-old Rolla man.

Court documents state that the man called Rolla Police last week.

He said that he didn’t get a credit card statement and tried to look the company up on the internet.

He told police that he must have gone to a site that spoofed the real credit card statement.

After calling the number on the website, he also gave the scammer remote access to his computer.

The scammer told the man to go to the bank and withdraw $25,000.

He said he was an agent with the FDIC.

He also said that he was going to deposit $45,000 in the victim’s bank account.

The man was told to withdraw the money to check if one of the tellers at the bank was stealing.

The man got the money and then handed it over to a person at a local business.

The next day, the scammer contacted the man again, this time saying it was the wrong teller and that he needed $30,000.

The man again withdrew the money and arranged another meeting.

He also told a family member about the situation.

Since there are threads on Indian nationals doing petty crimes in the West and a certain poster is quick to report on them keeping all PP'ers in the loop of these crimes, I want to return the service in goodwill.

I request all Indian nationals to report crimes committed by our neighbors in this thread. I am sure there will not be any dearth of those great people in the West.

Brothers Residing in New York and Bangladesh Charged with Running Digital Streaming Piracy Scheme

On Nov. 15, a federal grand jury in the Eastern District of New York returned an indictment charging Noor Nabi Chowdhury, 56, of Cheektowaga, New York, and his brother, Mohammad Rahman, 36, of Dhaka, Bangladesh, with conspiracy to provide to the public an illicit digital transmission service; providing an illicit digital transmission service; conspiracy to commit wire fraud; and aggravated identity theft. The charges stem from their operation of 247TVStream, an online subscription-based service that permitted users to stream copyrighted content, such as live sports programming and television shows, without the permission of the relevant copyright owners.

According to court documents, Chowdhury and Rahman allegedly ran the illegal scheme for years and collected more than $7 million in subscriber fees from 247TVStream subscribers. The estimated harm to legitimate copyright owners caused by 247TVStream is more than $100 million. Chowdhury and Rahman also allegedly used a victim’s identification to facilitate the infrastructure for the scheme.

The indictment was unsealed earlier today, following Chowdhury’s arrest, and he appeared for his arraignment in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York this afternoon. An arrest warrant was issued for Rahman, who remains at large.

“According to the indictment, Chowdhury and Rahman ran an illicit digital streaming site that infringed upon more than a hundred million dollars of intellectual property owned by legitimate copyright owners,” said Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Nicole M. Argentieri, head of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division. “Thanks to the work of our prosecutors, along with our domestic and international law enforcement partners, the illicit digital streaming site no longer exists, and Chowdhury is in custody. These actions demonstrate the Criminal Division’s commitment to protecting intellectual property rights by vigorously enforcing the laws against illicit digital transmission services.”

“As alleged, the defendants operated a bootleg online streaming service that distributed copyrighted television programs that they stole for their personal enrichment,” said U.S. Attorney Breon Peace for the Eastern District of New York. “My office and the Justice Department are committed to protecting the rights of intellectual property holders from digital pirates like these defendants.”

“Noor Nabi Chowdhury and Mohammad Rahman are accused of committing copyright infringement to the tune of over $100 million,” said Special Agent in Charge William S. Walker of the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York Field Office. “As alleged and in furtherance of their criminal scheme, the defendants stole an unsuspecting victim’s identity to exploit major American businesses, in pursuit of illicit wealth. HSI New York proudly stands alongside our law enforcement and private sector partners, both domestic and abroad, to thwart criminal organizations who seek to financially capitalize on their wrongdoing.”

I think we should adopt the same strategy used by the resident and create one thread per incident .... that should knock some sense into the numbskulls

Two Pakistan embassy employees caught stealing chocolate treats and a hat in South Korea

Two diplomats from the Pakistan embassy in South Korea were caught shoplifting at a store in Seoul, said police on Saturday.

Yongsan Police Station said the two were caught stealing items worth 11,000 won (USD 10) and 1,900 won (USD 1.70), respectively, at the same store in Itaewon, Yongsan District, on different dates, reported The Korea Times

One allegedly stole chocolate treats worth 1,900 won (USD 1.70), on January 10, and the other a hat worth 11,000 won (USD 10), on February 23.

After the hat was stolen, an employee at the store filed a police report shortly afterwards, and the law enforcement authorities identified the suspect through CCTV footage as a 35-year-old diplomat of the Pakistan Embassy, reported The Korea Times.

Following an investigation, officers closed the case without booking the suspect because of diplomatic immunity.

Under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, diplomats and their families may avoid arrest, detention or indictment under certain laws of their host country.
