Maybe coz FP is not biased as it is not from pak secondly it is considered a very reliable source. HT on the other hand the same news reporter which said 300 terrorists were killed and are biased towards india should be believed.

Someone cool this guy's head off. It's been in the ground too long. There was no terror camp and there was no surgical strike. You took down two trees while Pakistan took down two jets and (possibly) killed one of your pilots in the process. Not to mention the 40 soldiers you lost due to your atrocities in Kashmir. You get humiliated by the OIC, no one backs you up throughout this conflict with even the US taking a neutral stance. To cap it all off, your countrymen show their true nature to the world by assaulting innocent Kashmiris all over the biggest democracy in the world. Pakistan, meanwhile, gained international good-will for how they handled things.

This whole episode has been terrible for India. The WC will be the cherry on the cake.
 
So to sum up, when the US declares terrorists thrive in Pakistan, it is accepted as gospel truth from Indians and the Indian media, however when US supports the Pakistan narrative, US is Satan and sources are unconfirmed.

India was pistol whipped this year, and this latest news is nothing but an insult to the world's largest, but fictitious and corrupt, democracy.

Can't believe there are still staunch patriots defending the Indian version of events when just about everyone else is laughing at them. Just watched the comedy skit on Patriot's Act, the hit US show on Netflix, and the whole audience was in stitches at this story. The whole thing is a massive embarrassment but some people still living in la la land it seems.

You forgot to add, India loses pilot then DENIES it lost any pilots and all pilots are accounted for. Then video of their pilot getting kicked on the face comes out and he becomes a hero who destroyed F16 before crashing due to technical issues.

Modi Ji the great. Will go down in history as the greatest spin master, how he has manipulated over billion people.

Read today in the news Indians changing their statement and now F-16 was shot down near Nowshera which is near Peshawar and miles inside Pak territory. While Abhinandan was shot down as soon as he entered airspace.



Some really long range vedic missiles he was carrying :)))

Little? Wow you’re dumber than I thought. Foreign policy mag is probably the most credible foreign policy outlet in the US. Please don’t make up stuff. Lara has previously worked on great scholarly pieces and she won’t put her credibility on the line with fake news. Please grow up uncle. Look up her work before you make stupid claims.

Indians generally gloat and show off that "whole world agrees with us" whenever US and a few European countries give statements in their favour. They show it off as evidence of Pakistan's isolation and how the entire world is against Pakistan. When it doesn't go in their favour, they cry bias and make conspiracy theories. I have said this many times before and will say it again - Indians are the only nation that will spin literally any situation to appear in their favour. It helps them maintain their worldview and not have to deal with realities well known outside of their country.

It's laughable that Modi's ED are accusing a journalist just cuz he probably hasn't toed their line recently and broke the embarrassing possibility of us shooting down our own.

Manu Pubby brought out questions in the Agusta deal. He also probably met with Agusta to hear their version.

The BJP might not be used to journalists who hear and take in all possibilities before putting forward an investigative piece. This is not Arnab and Zee News etc who provide one narrative. Modi's narrative. Which honestly has turned stale as he will soon learn in a month's time.

US refuses to share data on F-16s with India

WASHINGTON: The United States government has declined to share with India information on the use of F-16 fighter jets by the Pakistan Air Force during a recent dogfight, the Indian media reported on Sunday.

“Soon after we were informed by the Indian side about Pakistan using F-16 aircraft on Feb 27, we informed the Indians that we will not be sharing any information on the subject as it is a bilateral matter between the US and Pakistan,” a US official told Indian Express.

The official said that India understood the US position, which was not India or Pakistan-specific. “If a third country tomorrow wants information about the C130 or C17 or Apaches that the IAF uses, our answer would be the same. It is a bilateral matter between India and the US,” the official added.

The Indian Air Force had complained to the Pentagon in March that Pakistan had violated the end-user agreement on F-16 by using the jets for offensive against India. The IAF also displayed parts of an AMRAAM beyond visual range air-to-air missile to prove its claim that Pakistan deployed US-made F-16 fighter jets during the Feb 27 dogfight with its planes.

Pakistan had categorically denied the Indian claim, saying that no F-16 fighter jets were used. It also rejected another Indian claim that the IAF shot down a Pakistani F-16 jet as totally baseless.

Pakistan, however, brought down an Indian plane and also captured its pilot who was released on March 1 as a goodwill gesture telecast live on both Indian and Pakistani TV channels.

Foreign Policy, a US magazine, reported recently that a US count of the Pakistani F-16s determined that none of them were “missing” and all the fighter planes were “present and accounted for”. The report contradicted India’s claim that the IAF had shot down an F-16 jet in Azad Kashmir.
