Now CSK’s chance of winning this game has gone higher considerably. We should not have appealed. He would have got the Rrr to 12 infew overs.
 
Wow. What a ball. Where is Veera Bhagu? I mean Bhaag Veeru Bhaag. IPL found this gem.

Mumbai has some very great bowlers Jasprit Bumrah, Pat Cummins, Fizz, Mitch McClenaghan & now Markande along with Pandya brothers. Not going to be easy for any batting team. Will be fun to watch RCB vs MI.
 
What a debut by young Markande. Needs to turn his leggiez a litte more but he already has a bagful of tricks.

Great to see another young wrist spinner doing well.

It is a new trend !! Leggies in LOI mode. Relies more on googlies. Rashid , Shadab etc.
 
Even if CSK wins , Dhoni fans will give credit to their "Thala" for picking Bravo .

What a thriller!!!! Bravo to Bravo for taking it home for the CSK's

Was invited to an IPL season opener and being a weekend decided to go. Enjoyed the game over some sumptuous kababs and biryani. A fantastic end to a well played game. Hope to catch up on more weekend games and expect those to be equally competitive.

Bro being Bangalorean I never supported CSK... Today felt for the IPL sake CSK should win.

This win of CSK needed for getting that kick-start to this season ...

Afterall STAR is spending 2.5 billion $, first match justified the investment :19:

Im an hardcore CSK fan ,but cant understand why people put all credits on dhoni everytime , he was brilliant on his time but currently he isnt reason team won nor he is deserving candidate for captainship
I think we people are just used to see captain in dhoni if he is in team
 
Amazing climax lol. I think Mumbai bowlers were predictable and got carried away in death over. Bumrah should have bowled from over the wicket to bravo instead of bowling into his arc.
Somebody should have told fizz that jadhav is good at playing behind the wicket shots.instead of cramping him for room he bowled predictable lengths.
 
165 was never enough at Wankhade - great effort by MI to make a match of it. After MU, this is the 2nd best coming of the day

I actually didn't see, was watching Manchester derby. Must be a great innings to hit 7 six. Also, Bumrah went for like 35 in last 3 overs - this doesn't happen every day.
 
The reason why MSD wouldn't have won this match like Bravo did is in his post match comments. He was thinking about not losing heavily, hence he would have been okay if CSK finished 145-7 or something like that and that's what he has been doing for quite sometime.

He is useless in Tests but fine all rounder for odis & t20s. He should be in their t20 side but currently he do not deserve to be in ODI side.

DJ could have destroyed any bowler today..played unbelievable innings ..also due didn't help bowlers either :19:

doesn't make sense as he does same even in bilateral series.

164 was a below par total at the wankheded. Under dew it is virtually impossible to defend any total here. Very hard to grip. But CSK somehow screwed themselves over before BRavo puled off a magic

True !!! Thats exactly why he is lost so much of his loving suppoters lately

We can understand age do its part but whats with this over the top "thakela" attidtude just fight till the end
 
I thought cricket was supposed to bring everyone together but everyone wants to hate on a player/league/country. I get the appeal of it as I’m a die hard cricket fan too, but it saddens me that people over here get into arguments for the sake of a game that is supposed to bring everyone together. If the purpose of a thread is to discuss a particular game then everyone should discuss it rather than bringing in people who did not play in that particular game or tournament. It seems like Cricket over here has become all too fictional. I’m sorry if I hurt anyone’s feelings.
 
Bravo ruined my day. That was a shocker. Didn’t want my hero Sachin look dejected.
