De Kock is a far superior wicket keeper than Partiv Patel (or anybody in this IPL probably!) He took a crucial catch of Rohit Sharma in the last match and also saves lots of runs! And we know what Rohit can do if he stays longer (against Punjab). Somehow Rohit is more reliable in IPL compared to Internationals as a savior (not questioning anything on his gigantic knocks which only he can do in a while) Probably that's because he comes down the order in IPL and takes responsibility, maybe he will do the same if he is made the Indian captain (If he can ask Suryakumar to open, then he will definitely ask Rahul to open and put himself down the order in place of Pandey/Kedar. Hopefully Rohit speaks about this with Kohli)...

So if De Cock sits out then it will definitely be a set back for RCB. Partiv can do his bit as T20 opener (as De Cock is not in his prime form with bat), but he is a poor wicket keeper and could be costly. If we didn't had a proper WK (like if we had Rahul in the team) then its OK to go with Parthiv. So its unfair to drop De Cock unless he is injured.

Kohli should move to DD which is even worse than RCB in its history. Hopefully the home-city motivates him to perform well and lead the team well... This I am telling in spite of him being our proud player since the earlier editions when he was a rookie entity! But he doesn't seem to have that kind of attachment to the team, team culture, local culture, sentiments as Dhoni has with CSK!

I want Bangalore to come up with new/fresh look (Probably KL Rahul as captain), even the franchisee/management to get changed... Don't mind a franchisee coming from Mysore which has more local culture compared to cosmo-culture of Bangalore (with a dream name like "Mysore Wodeyars"! ) I want our team to perform under minimum expectation/pressure and maximum confidence/passion! Enough of Stargiri & Star team... Also KSCA should build a world class stadium in Mysore as well (the cultural icon of not just Karnataka but also India) with some matches played there! It is sad that there is only 1 international cricket stadium in Karnataka

They are comparing Kohli captain of Indian team with Kohli of RCB... Indian team has Dhoni & BCCI Selectors/Management for the backing plus India has a superb team... BMac is out of shape but Watson is still fit. Plus he is a useful bowler in SC conditions.

Moeen is good but in T20s, they have the bigger power game and reputation compared to Moeen. Hence, they all got the nod ahead of Moeen.
