Mohammed Siraj the fastest so far in the first 5 overs of the tournament - 143.81 kph

Last time none of Indian bowler touched 150kph. I think they will perform better on desi speed guns

While they are not wrong that Pakistani bowlers are on the slower side as compared to those of Australia, India, NZ and some other sides, they need to respect PCT. Pakistan has given the world the fastest bowler ever and several other top class fast bowlers.
Shaheen is faster than Bumrah.

Hassan and Shami are roughly the same, but we'll give it to Shami.

Hasnain/Rauf are quicker than Prasidh/Saini.

Unless your talking about test cricket, different story then. But our LO attack is one of the quickest in the world.

In four innings just oneball over 145 kph thanx to local faasht bowlers. We will see much quicker bowling as foreigners join in

What's the use of being Phasht when you get whacked to the boundary at double your bowling speed? :ashwin

Anyone with a sane mind will pick a "trundler" Bhuvi kumar over "phasht" Haris Rauf or Hasnain who get carted onto the grassbanks by NZ's domestic sides...:apology

This thread is related to speed so stick to the topic. It is not my fault that Saini and Prasidh often get whacked despite being "phaaasst " or Bumrah and Shami getting tonked all over the park of late

Shows the star power of Rauf and Hasnain that Indian fans are dragging them into the conversation in threads about ISL.

Prasidh won us a game on his debut against the world champions and I really don't remember Saini getting whacked by a random domestic team batters... :apology

Bumrah and Shami are better than any Pakistani bowler right now so it'd be childish to take any dig at them. :)

No more posts about Pakistan bowlers here - stick to just IPL

Don't care about speed anymore. Have seen the Sainis and Rauf's getting smashed while the likes of Bhuvi, Natarajan bowl economical spells.

Last year it was Nortje who bowled fastest with 156.22 kmph and sat on ranks on 2nd, 3rd and 4th too.
Lockie Ferguson bowled 5th fastest (153.84)

I thaught Parsith looked like shoaib akhtar with two tons of shoulders

But this is his body

How is this dude getting all that pace from
With this looks so unnatural :))

For reference shoaib

Only bowler I have seen hit those speeds with that body is 2010 Amir in Australia and a test match at that

Can he sustain that pace with that body? Especially in longer form of cricket
Really weird to see tbh and how that body is generating that pace

Hasnain, naseem they all had a bit of muscle on em but this man is too lanky looking for that kind of pace

For indian fans was he crossing 150k or 145k consistently especially outside of t20?

This guy is an interesting case will try to follow his career...

Prasidh Krishna consistently hit 150+ in the last IPL that happened in India (2019) actually 7 Indians did.

He's been relatively injury free as well, so put it down to wiry strength. Bumrah doesn't look express either, but he's bowled 150+ regularly as well.

When did bumrah regularly bowl 150kph apart from one series against australia

Guys - just keep thread for speeds - other issues discuss elsewhere

Mohammad Sami & Mohammad Zahid were very skinny to be honest & both bowled consistently at 90 mph !

Same with Ishant Sharma in his debut year ( 2007-08 ) when he was pretty quick consistently

DO NOT MAKE THIS INTO A PAKISTAN v INDIA thread.

Patience is running out with some of you.

Norje should be in action tomorrow. He will be high on this list when he gets going.

Lol he will dominate this particular chart. Pat Cummins leading the speed watch charts is not ideal to say the least.

No Ferguson or Wood this IPL?

Nortje had even dominated Ferguson last year,he had bowled 3 out of top 5 fastest bowls.

Pat Cummins has been playing on slower wickets so he has had to adapt his pace.

Fergurson is on the KKR bench. Wood opted out of the auction.

Ferguson is again on the bench today too. So it is Prasidh Krishna and Siraj who will be on and try wrestling top spot from cummins today.
Nortje was ranked top last year, in fact was number 2,3 & 4 too.

What pace bumrah and shami have bowled?

Pitch of Chennai is slow, and I think ball will stick in 2nd innings hence I think we will not see 150+ bowling on Chennai pitch
