Rutherford gone and MI favourite now as GT doesn't have much batting depth

No more Bumrah, 31 needed off 18.... GT can still win this... both the batters can slog

what a match this was.. one for the ages.. IPL has been throwing up iconic matches this year.. exciting stuff
 
Target should've been achieved long time ago. GT made a mess of this for no reason. Also, it looked bit shady during the last few overs.
 
What a thriller probably best game of the season. Bumrah was unreal but Chahar bottled the Game for MI.

Happy for GT and at the time MI lost. Hopefully MI will lose last two game as well.

GT team has an untested middle/lower order. Also they were up against Boult/Bumrah. With start/stop it breaks the rhythm as well.

Yes, they were scampering. I saw the game from this position.

If you have 2 overs from Bumrah anything can happen. There is a reason why MI has won some impossible matches in the past. Malinga/Bumrah with ball then Pollard with bat. So teams have to be wary of that and be ahead of the game.

Lol for those saying GT should have easily won. They were up against the Bumrah the GOAT himself. Have people forgotten that he won against SA in T20 WC final a year back? Also GT was managing DLS score without taking too much risk. Bumrah dragged MI back into the game but ultimately that was not enough. Three unbelievable games in the last two weeks. Great IPL
 
GT completed their mission, come on PBKS & DC... Beat them in league stage itself and throw them off...

Just focus on tests and t20

ODI is a dead format
Leave that for cheating aussies
 
Spinners are bowling well here , tough to get them away.

IOt will interesting to see how Narine and Varun and Moen Bowl here
 
I want KKR to lose this match because I don't want them in playoffs, another gun team in playoffs! This is the only reason I am supporting CSK in this match (otherwise I don't want them to win any matches in normal circumstances :)) )

Punjab Openers are not that experienced but they have done very good job together , solid , attacking pair.
 
Punjab looks strong, they should beat MI in next game hopefully! But MI may beat DC in their last game and still qualify for playoffs (at least in 4th place). But Punjab will surely qualify if they win today! DC are looking hopeless at the moment...

9:52pm The Punjab Kings v Delhi Capitals match (Match#58) in Tata IPL was forced to be abandoned due to a significant technical failure at the HPCA stadium in Dharamsala. Due to a power outage in the area, one of the light towers at the HPCA stadium malfunctioned. BCCI regrets the inconvenience caused to the in-stadium attendees.
 
The match was called off because of war-like situations , the rest of the games probably will be played in eastern India or IPL may be postponed.

I’m surprised to see no one complain about the English commentary panel. The likes of Anjum Chopra, Deep Das Gupta, WV Raman and Varun Aaron have no business being anywhere near the commentary box. IPL is not a platform to test commentary talent. And why wasn’t Lisa Sthalekar offered a contract? These sort of things happen when you have the likes of the clueless Ambanis at the helm of things.

Ravi Shastri is good. Gavaskar is not great but he understands his limitations and talks less. Harsha Bhogle can be a pain to listen to when he starts rambling but gets a pass because of his command of English.
 
Sources say that Moeen Ali will not join KKR for the remainder of the IPL while official confirmation is still awaited.

Tamasha league , Gavaskar the hypocrite wants to finish it without music and cheerleaders because he knew Pakistan ne Jo bajai ha uske bad music chalana banta nhi ha.

That is the drawback when you are playing 60-70 games in a league. Resheduling becomes difficult.

Yeah, I agree. When you have so many games, it is better to have double headers to make it happen quickly without making it more boring by prolonging it for months.
