CSK’s top-order batting looks solid with Sanju Samson, Ruturaj, Ayush Mhatre, and Brevis.
I don’t know who Karthik Sharma and Prashant Veer are, why such a huge amount was paid for them.
CSK is known for its strong batting depth, which they seem to have lost now. Jadeja is a gun player for CSK, and losing him is a big blow, especially for death-overs batting.
I am not convinced by CSK’s bowling department it looks quite ordinary except one or two.

18 not 28..........he is good t20 bowler around 6 crore

Would love to see Jamie Smith in the PSL.

He has not done much in Indian conditions. Unless he scores , teams wil be vary .Srh got Brooks for 15/16 crores but he was a total failure with 8 or 9 avg.so franchisees are not sold much on new era bazballers.

RR bowling attacks is good ( Archer , burger and Milne) but batting is all about Jaiswal, sooryavanshi and for some extent Parag, no finisher at all.

KKR management has started behaving like the old dumb RCB. Meanwhile, RCB has become smarter and more calculated.

KKR has made too many blunders. Releasing Shreya Iyer last season and retaining Venkatesh Iyer for 23cr was the biggest mistake, and they also released Salt, who won the title for them, RCB capitalized on that by picking Salt. And this year they paid 25Cr for Green. LMAO.

Stupid management, should have retained Shreyas last year itself instead of Venkatesh Iyer, now they have no option other than Rahane to captain the side.

RCB bought two U19 players who are currently playing in the Asia Cup: Kanishk Chouhan and Vihaan Malhotra.
They have done well in the auction and just need a few backups.
Jacob Duffy as a backup for Hazlewood,
Jordan Cox as a backup for Bethell/Tim David,
Venkatesh Iyer as a backup for Padikkal or another Indian batsman,
and Mangesh Yadav as a backup for Yash Dayal.

I think he should withdraw from IPL having made a back door deal with PSL

Drop $100k for potentially $400k+

Only a brainless fool will pull out of IPL to play PSL.

It will get them banned in the IPL forever, & also end any possibility of being picked by IPL owned franchises in foreign leagues, of which there are many..

If you play well in IPL, you also better your chances of future retention at higher payscale or the possibility to fetch more money in future auctions...No upside in PSL,apart from the short schedule of the tournament

Josh Inglis may be available for more IPL games than initially expected!

The Australian wicketkeeper had previously informed the BCCI that he would be available for only 4 games

Now that he has got such a bid, he might even come at the start of the season, leave for the wedding, and come back soon after," said a source( Cricbuzz) .
