He lacks experience. He uses slower ball when batsman expects and on pace delivery when batsman expects. That comes with experience. Ability to predict what batsman is going to do. Santner illustrated it beautifully in the same match. He has pace.

I do what I say ... check every TEST game thread in last 2 years - I am there .

Not sure if you are saying that you are at the stadium or in front of the tv. If you are, then good on you.

But that is not the case for most people. If it were, then we would see whole lot of people in the stands and tv/steaming ratings would be high.

But that is not the case. Tests are dead in WI, SL, Pak., BD, SA and even NZ.

It is hanging by a thin thread in Ind. And if that Indian thread cuts, boy is the test format in trouble. Ind. have already cut all test series to just two (not sure if two tests is a series). BGT and ATT are good for now. But for how long, who knows.

That leaves just two out of the nine test playing nations that show up for tests. Now, that is just a sad state of affairs. Even there, if Ind. decide reduce or cut BGT, ATT, CA and ECB will take a big hit in terms of $$$. That will leave them both just relying on Ashes money.

How sad would that be?
