I look at skills. I haven't seen proper skills from nagarkoti or Mavi. I am talking about execution of bouncer, outswing, inswing,slow ball, yorker etc.

Then why are you hyping them to the extent of calling bowlers like Cummins, Boult, Pattinson as not being good enough for PSL. I have no issues if you want to hype Pakistani youngsters, every fan should do so, but never do that by mocking others. But I guess that too much to expect.

Not sure about that but I hope somewhere in the near future, after all the political madness ends, IPL expands into Pakistan and possibly even Bangladesh. Sort of like the NBA and the A-League expanding into Canada and New Zealand respectively.

Can’t compare the other sides because their key players play in IPL franchises. However, when you compare the Pakistani team with IPL franchises man to man, Pakistan will be compare to the weakest IPL franchise(s).

Any IPL team will need a 2-3 weeks window if not more to regroup whereas the ROI squad, with lot kore intra squad familiarity and natural camaraderie, will take no time to come together and perform. And in all likelihood, the ROI squad will win.

Remember how the mighty IPL teams used to struggle in the now defunct Champions League against much weaker domestic sides from SA or even WI . Took them a few seasons to figure out they needed to assemble the squad togethers weeks before the tournament to succeed.

Not one player is even close to int'l T20 standard except maybe khushdil who himself is meh from what I saw against zimb.

NZ regional teams were also at their full strength except the test squad players (So I am not sure about the reserve part except maybe the last match against NZ xi where there were few) and NZ without a doubt has decent depth in currently especially if you consider their top regions.

And don’t forget that very few of that A team had played PSL. Abdullah Shafique, Zeeshan Malik, Danish Aziz, Rohail Nazir, Usman Qadir have all played zero or little PSL cricket in their lives.

Haider Ali was the most experienced player in that A side other than Wahab Riaz who was cannon fodder on those 50m grounds.

In fact almost none of those guys were PSL stars. The people who had played PSL were Hussain Talat and Amad Butt who were ok in PSL.

Each their own. I didn't watch the IPL because of the abscence of the Pakistani players from the format. The only time in my life i watched the IPL religiously was in 2008 when Pakistani players were playing in the league.

IPL in the UAE was better than all the PSL seasons in the UAE. No **** sherlock, its like comparing a first world league with all the elite players bought out with $1-3 million paychecks with a third world league. IPL in the UAE will smash the Natwest League, CPL, Big Bash, BPL in the UAE as well.

Moving forward, it would be in the best interests of our fans to enjoy PSL in isolation and not disappoint themselves by comparing it to IPL, which is the highest form of T20 cricket in the world.

PSL is demonstrating a very high caliber of competitive games. It is helping to develop indigenous talent. The fast bowling talent is appreciable, with many bowlers consistently bowling at faster than 140 km/h and several over 145 km/h. Afridi, Amir, Rauf, Arshad Iqbal, Dahani , Riaz being particularly good . The batting of Zaman, Sharjeel, Hafeez, Rizwan, Haider Ali, Azam Khan has been impressive. The Karachi-Lahore game yesterday was another example of the quality of the PSL Usman Qadir and Zahid Mahmood have improved as spinners. The PSL will be instrumental in forging a top team for the T20 World Cup. Pakistan has been dominant as a T20 team and was ranked #1 for at least a couple of years. As the new team evolves, it will recapture it's standing as the top team. Do not be despondent! With PSL being played entirely in Pakistan, it highlights the immense potential and talent that we are fortunate to have and illustrates the security, culture, tradition and hospitality of a great people. We should all rejoice in this .

Each their own. I didn't watch the IPL because of the abscence of the Pakistani players from the format. The only time in my life i watched the IPL religiously was in 2008 when Pakistani players were playing in the league.

IPL in the UAE was better than all the PSL seasons in the UAE. No **** sherlock, its like comparing a first world league with all the elite players bought out with $1-3 million paychecks with a third world league. IPL in the UAE will smash the Natwest League, CPL, Big Bash, BPL in the UAE as well.

What is the point of stating the obvious that everyone else doesn't know?

So according to you there is no point in me saying the IPL is better than the PSL. So what's the point in bumping this thread when the tournament isn't even in the UAE this year lol?

IPL in Pakistan would mean that the teams will score 350 in 20 overs and these scores will be chased. That is how ridiculous the OP is.
