Because of cricinfo, probably.
I have no idea why, but there, the IPL is being referred to as the Indian T20 League
Teams are being referred to as Mumbai T20, Kolkata T20, etc.

When you look at it like that it's understandable, but this is hyped up to be some brilliant worldwide tournament. I'll watch a few more games but people like that Tare at the top of the order don't fill me with confidence about the standard.
